I recently stayed at the Mayur Hotel Katra and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. The hotel was plagued with issues from the start. Firstly, there was no electricity for the majority of my stay, which meant no lights, air conditioning, or even hot water. It made the whole experience extremely uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the beds were incredibly uncomfortable—hard and lumpy, offering no support or comfort. I barely managed to get any sleep throughout my stay. The overall lack of basic amenities and the poor quality of the beds made this one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good experience, rooms are cozy, gave 3 star on rooms because property is a bit old but managed well. Service was good as whatever requested was fulfilled timely. Staff was polite, courteous and helpful, Nothing to complain. Location is good as it's in market so you don't have to think or take auto rickshaw to go to market.

Great place to stay.. very close to the main market and the parchi counter…very nice and helpful staff and nice rooms… would recomend it if u are travelling to mata vaishnodevi. Jai mata di

The hotel and overall, it is as a decent experience. The room was neat and clean. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. It provided a satisfactory stay for those on short stay.

All over experience was okay. The hotel has accessible location as its very close to the Katra chowk. The rooms are very spacious. Unfortunately the sheets and blankets were not clean at all. One can just pick up the blanket and look at all the dust over there. So hygiene wise ot 2/5, I even got a bit of skin allergy due to the same. The food was okayish. Keeping all that aside the Hotel staff and Reception staff was helpfull.

This was a great hotel and I used to come here each year since 2003. But now same is one of worst here in Katra. In spite of my direct booking 3 months ago, they provides 3 double bed room at 3 different floor. Not only this shower in bathroom is not connected with hot water. There is different tap for hot water and you need to bath with bucket. Bed sheet and comforter cover which was provided was not cleaned before giving room. You can see lady hair on same. I will not recommend this hotel at all.
