Hotel shanti palace

I had the worst experience here. The room was dirty and the washroom was the worst... Cigarette buds are in the washroom. Bed bugs were there. I was sleeping and it was all over me even in my hair , my clothes.. I didn't sleep for the entire night. I was traveling alone.. when I was in the room someone knocked at 9pm when I yelled who was there no one answered. I felt unsafe.. I double locked the room and despite having issues with the room yet I decided not to leave the room at night and stayed there.

Worst hotel to stay in Katra. You can get other good hotels at the same price. The staff is also not cooperative. They just need their room rent once you deposit same they started behaving so rude and the accommodation they provide is pathetic. I would never recommend anyone to go for this hotel. Worst hotel and worst staff.

The worst hotel I booked till date is shanti palace which was ironically full of aashanti. The receptionist is very rude to every customer. Charge sky high prices for little delay in checkout. Very poor room service. So called 24*7 geyser service provides cold water. Convince everyone to book the hotel by saying that they provide pickup service from yatra gate after completion of trek but this is valid till 10 pm only because they know that devotees will not be able to complete the trek before 10 pm and save their cab's fuel. NEVER recommend to anyone.

Very bad experience They committed 1300 for 2 or 3 nights ( 3 night if we return in time to hotel for 2nd night) But we spend 1 night at up vaishnodevi.. they should charge for 2 night but they charge 3 night thye argued.. talk very rudely. Service - Good Pick and drop service - Good but you have to wait a lot

This is the worst hotel. Cockroaches kathmal… upper se service guy ka behaviour was worst. Complain kerne ke bad bhi uper se bolra ki app khali ker do wo bhi raat me 11:00 baje. Me family ke sath aya tha vaishnodevi. Please guys do not come never ever recommend this hotel. Kide bhare pade h room me gaddo me. Very unsafe if you are with family.

The staff is really nice and serve the customers well. They offer in house delicious food at reasonable and competitive rates. Pick and drop from railway station and Ban Ganga is free of cost. I visited twice and the overall experience is great.

It is located on the road going towards Katra railway station and is 10 minutes away from the bus stand and the railway station. The rooms are small and the service is a bit slow. You can take this place for a stay if you want to save some money while traveling alone.
