NillWonderful stay in Leh in this hotel. Really cozy, clean and warm bedroom. The bathroom was very nice, big and clean. The service also fantastic, the boy of the reception was really helpful and diligent, and so was de manager. I really recommend this place for Leh!

NillNormally we prefer homestays to hotels, but Kadakh Greens is such a cozy, friendly and relaxed place, it feels like one of our top homestays. The owner, Dorje-la, is friendly, kind and has made so many helpful suggestions. He also got our Protected Area Permit for travel in the more restricted areas, and has given us valuable advice on travel in the more remote areas. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Kunal particularly took the trouble to make sure we had good breakfasts 😊. Housekeeping service has been excellent, and it feels great to come back to the room after being out all day. The garden is a real joy. Sitting outside and enjoying the wind in the trees, the clouds constantly changing, the birds calling, and the lovely flowers, makes us feel so happy. We didn’t take full advantage of the food service, as we tend to have our evening meal quite early, but other guests did have dinner here, and it always looked and smelled delicious. Portions are generous. Vegetables come from the hotel’s own adjacent vegetable garden. We have stayed here for 11 nights and plan to return after we do some touring outside Leh. At this point, I would not even bother to try another hotel — we just feel so at home here.

NillA really lovely place to stay in Leh, reasonably priced and calming. The manager, in particular, was very helpful in letting us change the dates of our booking around at short notice and sitting in the garden was a wonderfully peaceful way to relax after travelling around Ladakh. Great breakfast, too!

★★★The manager is kind and tries to help, but that’s where the positives end. The staff is clueless and doesn’t speak English, making communication frustrating.||||The rooms are filthy and clearly haven’t been cleaned in a long time. The first was swarming with insects; the second had fewer bugs but was still dirty. The third was the least dirty, but still unacceptable.||||After an hour of cleaning, the room was still far from a satisfactory standard. I lost patience after three hours and moved to another hotel. It wasn’t until I found a homestay that I finally had the clean environment essential for enjoying my stay.||||The hotel and rooms reeked of an unpleasant odor. Opening the balcony door was the only option, despite being warned about insects. I chose bugs over the stench.||||The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the market, and the view from my room was nice, but that’s hardly enough to make up for the rest.

NillThe most amazing stay. Hotel owner is very accommodating, friendly and available, he was able to help us with everything we needed. They can also help arrange the tourist permits so you don't have to worry about that. The hotel itself is beautiful, very green and quiet - we truly had a relaxing experience there. Rooms are comfortable and have a balcony. The staff is there anytime you need them, there is restaurant/food service available at the property. This is an example of how hospitality should be. We will stay there if when we visit Leh again! P.S. This hotel is very easy to find - just tell the driver it's on the Lower Tukcha road.

★★★★★We chose Hotel Ladakh Greens because it still has a garden (unfortunately many hotels in Leh have built over their gardens). It also has a vegetable garden, and the cook picks vegetables for your meal. The food was very good, and we ate outside in the garden. We booked a room with a balcony, and it was a nice place to relax. The room was big and had a comfortable bed and very nice bath. We liked it so much that we booked additional nights there. It is within walking distance to the bazaar.
