OYO 14082 Hotel Himalayan Stays

I recently stayed at this hotel with my family for more than 7 days. We booked through Booking.com after reading that the hotel had good reviews, but it was a highly disappointing experience for multiple reasons:||1) The hotel's management is extremely poor. The entire management is done by a single worker who has no idea about hotel policies. ||2) The lax attitude of the owner: In a time period of 10 days, the owner didn't meet us even once. There was 0% initiative by the owner.They didn't even send us a taxi for airport pickup. Also, the owner is least cared about the experience of the guests, e.g, one person got really sick and the owner showed completely nonchalant attitude.||3) The information presented on the website is entirely different from the real situation. They had mentioned that they accept credit/debit cards at the hotel for payment but there was no facility for card payment. This created unnecessary inconvenience for us on the last day. They take cash only which means that they avoid paying gst.||4) Poor state of facilities: there were a lot of powercuts (more than twice a day) and the hotel management didn't even bother to turn on the generator unless asked to do so by us (and that too repeatedly).||The food is overpriced. Moreover, they didn't even recharge their cable TV after the due date. ||Overall, I found that the owner is not cared about the experience of the guests even though the hotel has been running for more than 20 years. We felt that there were more reasonable and better options in Leh, like Tsomori Hotel (which is near the market, unlike this hotel and has a more welcoming attitude than Himalayan Stays).

We stayed here for four nights before leaving for a five day trek. We could leave our luggage and they were nice to let us pay when we got back. |The rooms were nice and clean. Big beds, nice temperature and the one thing that really made the stay, the staff. Friendly and helpful they made our stay there one of the best on our India trip!

Hi,||I stayed for 3 nights here. Rooms were very clean too. ||Staff was very much helpful and courteous. ||They provide excellent food at rooms without any extra service charges because all other hotels ask for extra 10% service charges if they serve food at your room. But these guys don't charge any service fees. They also have a very good quality of food taste.

The hospitality of the guys made our Leh-Ladakh tour. We stayed there for 3 nights. The rooms were clean and the staffs were very much friendly even the owner himself took care of us. They managed the required permits and car for us

Great facilities at reasonable rates. One of the finest hotels in Leh with all the basic facilities including hot water, on demand for tea and coffee. Food is organic and quality is good. The ambience is too good. Recommended to stay for the night.

very lovely hotel with nice staffs. The location is very good. The room was very beautiful. I really enjoyed here. I visited this hotel on 2nd October 2017. It is strongly recommended for all types of travelers..

Good place for stay. Clean rooms, clean bathrooms. One offside it's too far from the main market area. If you don't have a vehicle then it becomes expensive going to market and returning.

Hotel is quite good. The staff offers great hospitality. Only negative thing is that the approach to hotel is not on main road. Hence parking issue is there.
