Houseboat New Mexico

I booked accommodation in this houseboat through makemytrip and confirmed by this houseboat owner one day before arrival at Srinagar. But on reaching Srinagar and when I contacted the houseboat owner, it was told that there is no booking and refused/denied to give room. Very bad experience on my first visit to Srinagar with this. I wasted half day in finding other accommodation

Without doubt one of the favorite house boat stayed during my time in Srinagar! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and manager. The staff was extremely friendly, the food arrangements were very flexible (appreciate this!) and We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience.

The houseboat was very good and heater and all warm items like hot bag was provided.The houseboat is highly recommended and surely will visit again .Care taker Mr Mustaq was very helpful and supportive.

We stayed overnight at this houseboat.. great experience... Beautiful ambience...lovely hospitality and hassle free transport to and from Ghat via ferry... Overall a must visit...

We had a great time in the boat, the food and the appearance was quit good but lately we realise that services which they are providing us is not same as they committed when we asked owner about this, he just left saying he is not the right person to discuss on this, then we had another person who took us to that house boat in his shikara and took the boat terrif, when we discussed this with him, he also ignored and left we had no other option then leaving the boat without any solution. Owner is quite restricitve and very pushy in terms of breakfast and dinner. Please guys ask every basic things here don't use your common sense as they are the people who can turn very easily and they have there own dominating community so outsider cannot do anything Had very bad experience in houseboat, please donot choose this boat as your option

Amazing rooms, wonderful n humble caretaker, good food n view was amazing.We hd a gr8 night here the caretaker uncle was very friendly.

Place is really good and mustaq has taken care very well. Very good boat. Food is also delicious
