Rooms are clean. Location wise is also good since you don't have to travel much from the ground surface. Food was homely - we got Jain food without Onion and garlic. But the service was terrible. The caretaker lives there only but when we were there he was always on the phone talking with someone and never paid much attention towards us. We had a baby with us and wanted baby food to prepare. We approached him and he was in his own world. Although the baby was crying, he was talking with someone on call and we were waiting for him. He was not welcoming after arrival. Although we booked through a travel agency, I think for the price we paid it was not a good experience.

It was a great stay at Persian Palace group of houseboat. It was me and my mom travelling and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and let us experience the one in a lifetime opportunity of staying on a houseboat on Dal Lake. The shikara ride was magical and as Javed sir had rightly claimed the chicken dish served for dinner was too good and very very tasty!!! Overall, highly recommended for the hospitality, service and food!

Houseboat staff was Good. And the best thing was their food. Property was not very Good condition. Wooden fitting of some places was not properly fixed. They have total 4 rooms available. 2 are new & big and 2 are old & small. One more room was undercunstruction. Bath Tubs what you can see in picture doesn't have plugs to avoid draining water, so bath tubs are use less.

We booked Persian palace house boat at the time of de boarding we can't see their board, we went now it's winter, heater blower was not given, even though we came from heavy rain and fully shaken. Bed heater was given which heated the bed after 1.30 hour, at the time of our early check out they were rushing with us asking to leave as early as possible that was worst feeling. Breakfast option was bad only one bread jam and omelette was given. Whole our trip this was not a complete happy stay

I'm really enjoying boat house. room service and food everything Excellent This people are really fantastic.. and humble.. especially zahoor bro. And javeed bro. Is really good person. Food are homemade. Very fresh and very delicious. And finally everything awesome 👍😎👍👍👍

Our stay at was absolutely magical! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and breathtaking views. The houseboat itself was beautifully designed, blending traditional charm with modern comforts. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering stunning views of the serene lake. One of the highlights was the delicious home-cooked meals – every dish was flavorful and authentic. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, always ready to assist with a smile. Waking up to the peaceful sound of water and enjoying a cup of Kashmiri Kahwa on the deck was an experience we’ll never forget. Overall, it was a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Highly recommend this houseboat stay for anyone looking for a unique and memorable getaway! We can’t wait to come back. A special shoutout to Javed for the hospitality. Truly greatful for him.

Me with 3 friends recently visited Kashmir through travel agency and our accommodation and food was with Persian Palace group of house boat. Our booking was 3star accommodation but they too us to ZERO star boat.When I complained, they took us to a better one.But the caretaker/helpers behaviour were very bad towards us. Also after dinner,all of our stomach were upset the whole night Not recomended .Zero star
