The owner and his son are incredibly sweet and helpful, the hotel has a nice porch with sitting place, it creates a really nice vibe. The location is also nice, it's in srinagar, a few minutes walk away from good food and local kashmiri shawl shops. Had a cozy stay with family. Definitely recommend ❤️

Great location, neat and clean rooms with good hospitality. Owner is strict with his rules but is a good person. Super economical we were 4 friends and it cost us less than 2k per night. Special mentioned to young boy for his services.

The room services were exceptional, and we particularly appreciated the hot drinking wate & bed heater during the chilly winter nights at -7 degrees—it made our stay much more comfortable. The daily sightseeing plans were well-executed, allowing us to enjoy the beauty of Kashmir without any hassle. Our car driver Muntazir was not only skilled but also very knowledgeable, providing us with valuable information about the various sites we visited in Kashmir. During the Amarnath Yatra in July, 20 of us were staying at the hotel. Fantastic hotel for medium budget in Kashmir's Srinagar. The rooms and premises are all clean. Excellent service.

Hotel Kashmir Orient is a wonderful property conveniently located within walking distance from Boulevard Road and Dal Gate in Srinagar. During our motorcycle trip to Ladakh in 2022, we had a delightful stay at this reasonably priced hotel. The owner and staff were always available and eager to assist, showcasing genuine hospitality. As fellow enthusiasts, the owner provided invaluable support, making our stay memorable. Highly recommended for a pleasant and affordable stay. Best Part: Huge parking space and secured.

What I liked: Quiet location, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Clean and spacious rooms. Hot water available 24/7. Close to Dal Lake. What I disliked: Electrical plugs and switches were in poor condition. Location was a bit off-side from the main market area. Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Kashmir Orient. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient for exploring Dal Lake and the surrounding area. However, I would caution guests to be careful with the electrical plugs and switches, as they were not in the best condition. Additionally, the location is a bit off-side from the main market area, so guests may need to take a taxi or tuk-tuk to get to and from the shops and restaurants. Tips for future guests: Bring a power strip or adapter for the electrical plugs and switches. Be prepared to walk or take an auto to get to the main market area. Enjoy the quiet and peaceful location of the hotel! I would recommend Hotel Kashmir Orient to travelers who are looking for a budget-friendly hotel with clean rooms and a quiet location.
