We stayed here one night. Every employee is ready to help you. We were in Theme suites. King size beds in large room. Excellent bathrooms. Hidal and Imtiaz were superb in helping on all needs. Breakfast and dinner were fine too.|Owner Yasinbhai loves his property. He spent like half an hour with us , sharing beautiful things. We will come again .

We are still dreaming about our exquisite experience in Mascot Houseboat. Our 3 nights stay in this luxurious houseboat in Nigeen lake has been truly magical. Beautiful spacious room, rich and elegantly designed houseboat, stunning views of the mountains and blue lake incl a variety of birds that visited us - it was peace, calm and beauty personified. Paradise on earth indeed! Special mention - Umer and his hospitality, who took great care of us. suggested the best/unique Kashmiri dishes we should try there; and went the extra mile in everything to ensure we had the most memorable time in Mascot. He is awesome! Big highlight is their food, and kudos to the Chef who prepared delicious dishes at breakfast and dinner. What a wonderful stay, and the shikara rides on the serene Nigeen lake was icing on the cake! Highly recommended, please go!

Located on a peaceful, serene lake, away from the hustle of the city and the touristy spots, this stay was just what the soul needed. So thoughtfully created, these houseboats are like works of art, so regal and elegant. It was a joy just to be there! |The staff are polite and respectful, something solo travellers do not often experience. They were happy to go out of their way to make the stay a truly wonderful experience. Their attention to details was heart warming. And the meals were a delight! Not your regular hotel fare; it was cooked with a lot of care, giving the perfect home-cooked, local cuisine experience every traveller looks for when they visit a new place. |To top it off, the owner also makes the effort to meet with every person visiting. And not just your typical formality type of meet and greet either; he makes it a point to actually spend quality time with everyone. ||Long story short, this stay is worth every penny, and is probably the best place I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing.

This is one of the most premium houseboats in Srinagar located at a pristine Nigeen lake. The views are amazing and the place is full of tranquility. Service on the houseboat is impeccable. All your needs are taken care of. Inhouse chef cooks some tremendous dishes and you can try every Kashmiri delicacy. This place really makes you feel like royalty.

This is a total antithesis of the houseboats on the Dal lake as in that you have luxury, privacy and very personalized service. My parents who are old and need assistance were very comfortable. The rooms and the suite are spacious and have everything one needs. This is an ideal place if you want to enjoy the true Kashmir and Old world hospitality. |All I all we had a really fantastic experience and only wish that we could have extended our stay here.

Rooms in Mascot houseboat were very old.And the power cut was frequent. The bathtub in the bathroom was broken, toilet paper holder was broken. The bathtub was not in use and the muddy water came out from it on using it. Towels were old and rough. The behavior of the Manager and the attendent was rude.Since arrival they tried to convince us to leave early next day on the name of traffic to the airport. In reality their next day guests were coming early so the wanted us to leave before check out time. Horrible experience after paying 16000 rs per night. The water of the nigeen lake is dirty too as all the sewer lines and drains of all the houseboats are piped in the lake directly. The local vendors too get into the houseboat for business so privacy is also compromised.

It was very special as it was my mom’s 77th birthday and she especially requested that we visit Kashmir. We all love Srinagar and states at the luxurious and beautiful Shamah suite. The boats and the hospitality was so unique and felt like it was our own home, just like family.

Excellent Hospitality. Delicious food with excellent services. We all had wonderful time. Good experience staying in Houseboat. Must try atleast once. Rooms were good, linen was good quality. Bathroom with toiletories were of good standards. No opportunity to have negative remarks.
