Service are poor. 1. In the name of heated room they disconnected the gas connection in 2 hours. 2. Wifi is not working 3. Food Quality is not upto the mark. All dishes are sweet in taste. Paneer is like made in sugar. 4. Flush is not working in the toilet. 5. Electric supply fluctuating in every hour. Not recommended to anyone.

I had done the booking online and right after I booked, they have been calling me and pestering me to cancel the booking and book directly with them instead. I refused and insisted that I wanted to stick to my existing booking. However at the time of checking in, just showing them the voucher from Booking.com was not enough for them...the owner insisted that I actually log into the app and show him the booking. I am an avid traveller and found this insistence very weird...when I reluctantly did, he noted down some codes (today I understood what he was upto)...read on.||Inspite of booking 2 separate rooms with respective attached bathrooms (two unrelated individuals/work colleagues), they first took me to a unit with two connected rooms where the occupant of one room would have to walk through the other room to access the shared bathroom. Once I protested, they took me to another boat (connected with the main one) and provided us two separate rooms...however the condition of the boat/passageways can be seen in the pictures attached. in short a horrible experience in a filthy houseboat. For every single thing they tried to overcharge us.||My checkin date was yesterday (4th July 2023) and I checked out today (5th July). I have attached some pictures to demonstrate the quality of this houseboat. They obviously are aware that my reviews are not going to be good, so today when I woke up in the morning, I was surprised to receive an email that my booking has been cancelled on the booking.com platform by them (without my request or approval)...they clearly know that I am going to give them bad reviews, after I complained about the dirty towels and other issues and they preempted it by going and cancelling the booking. (I of course paid them directly on check in and completed my stay, so there could not be any other reason to cancel the booking in the morning of my checking out).||In short Safina group of houseboats is running a scam. I am posting the review here and will make it a point to post the same review in as many platforms possible so that other unsuspecting tourists does not fall for the same scam.

Stayed there with family and friends for one night on 18th April 2023. Had booked through booking. com. However the houseboat preferred to negotiate off line. Was charged 10000 per room with dinner and breakfast included. Dinner was abysmal and breakfast never showed up. Rooms did not have heaters. And the caretaker Musaddik was rude. We were relieved when we finally checked out next morning. They will probably treat you better if you are part of a big group and booked through an agency. But if you are booking as an individual, brace for a nightmare.

I had an amazing experience in Kashmir, and staying at the Safina houseboat really added to it. The staff is super sweet, always ready to make you yea and help you get a boat taxi. They arranged our whole visit for a good price. Very knowledgeable about the area. Good family ambiance. Food is super tasty. I would definitely go again!

Memorable stay!! 😍Heritage safina group of houseboat is located to city centre in dal lake, A perfect place in nature It is fully furnished houseboat, with Excellent service, The best part about it is the food and the staff(Mama, yusuf bhai, cook) they were soft spoken and catered all the needs . Only improvement would be on hygiene of Rooms and bathrooms, and lastly zuhaib kana courteous and business savvy person. Thanks for the pleasant vibes and memorable stay, it is highly recommended place in dal lake

I visited Kashmir in March 2021. I stayed in Saginaw group of houseboat for one day. Worst quality of food, water and bed. Even they served you the food which was left by someone else. Yes they mix the left over food of someone else in the fresh food. Worst experience. I am attaching the photo of room what they send us and what we get there.

Beautiful houseboat. Exceptionally good staff and location of houseboat is also very good. The best thing which I like is the food which they have given. It tasted like home made food. cleanliness of the place was also a plus. All the amenities were class apart.
