Hotel Gurcoo Residency

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel during our trip to Kashmir. The staff was extremely supportive, always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, making our stay very comfortable. What we appreciated the most were the individual heaters in the rooms and the geysers in the bathrooms, which were perfect for the chilly weather. The food served was delicious, and the dining team went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. This hotel is an excellent choice for families visiting Kashmir. It truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend for a comfortable and pleasant stay!

The rooms were beautifully decorated, cozy, and well-equipped with modern amenities. Large windows allowed me to wake up to the most stunning sunrises. Our stay was booked here on our anniversary but we were disappointed when we saw the room. The rooms were pretty average and not clean at all. The washroom was smelling. the bedsheets and pillow covers had dirty spots. And when we requested the hotel staff for extra bathroom slippers they were pretty rude to us. The entire staff was not welcoming at all. We called our travel agent and changed the hotel immediately. While leaving the hotel, i showed the pictures to the staff and then their hospitality tone immediately changed , they were asking us to change the room and offered us Kahwa when we were about to leave not when we came. We denied politely as they spoiled our important day. They should actually work on training their staff for better hospitality and customer management in courteous way. Not recommending this hotel till they improve their staff service and room service. The location was bad too. From balcony you can see lot of buildings only like you are living in a narrow alley or mohalla. And they are calling their balcony room the premium rooms😂 not sure what premium view or service they are providing.

Fantastic experience. Service was top notch and food was very good. Menu was chosen based on where guests came from. Everything was given utmost care. Highly recommend as on December 2024

Rooms are clean and neat, the restaurant staff were very impressive their hospitality was excellent. Food was also delicious as they serve non veg along with veg in dinner.

For our entire 17-24 November trip in kashmir. We mostly stayed here as family of four. It is very good 3 star hotel in rajbagh area of srinagar. The hotel staff is very good and supportive. The room is big enough with all the facilities of heater(bluestar), dryer, tv, kettle everything. Only avoid the buffet dinner they serve so just take this hotel to stay and eat food from outside. The dinner was not good here but that's entire scene in whole of srinagar. Food doesn't taste good in buffet dinner. Otherwise the breakfast is ok and the rooms and everything is good. Geyser works 24/7 in the hotel also their is no electricity issue. Everything works well. Also the grocery store is just opposite to this hotel so its very good if u r travelling with children and required milk or fruits u can easily get it.

I stayed at Hotel Gurcoo Residency and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, and the view from the hotel was fantastic. A great place to relax and enjoy both comfort and scenic beauty!
