OYO Hotel Holiday Plaza

A typical budget hotel. Don't expect much from the rooms, they are just fine. Staff is friendly and cooperative. I liked that part. The worst part is food. In the name of complimentary buffet breakfast their spread had just three items (parathas with curd, boiled eggs and the worst ever Poha I've had in my life). I could only have parathas. They can rather give a choice to opt out of complimentary buffet. That's why three stars. Go for it if you want to go out for all the meals in other local restaurants.

We stayed here for 2 nights during our recent Kashmir trip on May 2016. The rooms are neat and clean. The hot and cold water facility is available in the bathroom. The staff is very polite, and cooperative. Food quality was amazing. Free wifi facility was also available.

Amazing hotel in economical budget. Staff is very courteous and room service is fast. Nice clean rooms. Location of the hotel is very good, all places in Srinagar are nearby. A small hotel with a big heart. Guests are treated as god. Had a wonderful experience. Would surely like to visit again.

Nice hotel. Awesome food. Service and behavior of staff was amazing. Breakfast of dahi bread was soooo tasty. Rooms are beautiful spacious and comfortable. Hotel was good for family and couples . All room facilities are available including bed heater and geyser. Breakfast and Dinner was excellent with some special Kashmiri cusinies . View was urban not scenic .

Very good experience. Rooms are little small but are good. Washrooms are neat and clean. Hotel staff is just awesome. They never say no to anything you ask them. Location is good. Hotel is on the Main road near taxi stand and you can easily find it.

Stayed in this hotel for two days. We had bitter experience through out the stay. Good things first||||1. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious||2. Warm bed provision is available||||Now the cons||1. Poor customer service. They have deaf ear to customer requirements||2. Unbearable attitude of front desk. They treated us as if it was a free stay||3. Night at 11pm they knocked the door to ask for an extra bed||4. Limited buffet spread||5. They serve breakfast at 8.30 am. The second day out flight was at 9am and we asked them to arrange for breakfast by 7.20am. They said yes and to our shock no one was at front desk or at kitchen. We left the keys on the table and left the hotel.||||I will never recommend this hotel.

I stayed with my spouse for 2 nights and 1 day in this hotel. We struggled to order food and have someone at the reception to take our call. I guess the only reason was that it was Eid time and we had nobody to assist us. Just one or two staff members on their own! We struggled with food big time. Several other families had complained the same in front of us. But, room service staff was nice and they attended us very well (when they met us during breakfast).||||Other than this, rooms were clean, no ACs (ofcourse, its Srinagar afterall) but we had temperatures rising upto 27 degree Celsius . We asked the house keeping guy to clean our room after we are back from breakfast - they forgot to do so and we requested but by then they were done. So, you wont get 24/7 house keeping or 24/7 room service. You will have to travel by autos to nearby places, no scenic beauty around the hotel.
