Great Hotel. Very Good spacious rooms. The service is prompt. The manager and staff is good . Food is good and they change menu too. We stayed there for 2 nights. Stay was comfortable and wonderful. Our room was facing the river side which was an additional bonus.

I recently stayed at D Shamoon Hotel during my trip to Srinagar and was quite impressed by its central location and easy accessibility. The hotel's proximity to key attractions made exploring the city hassle-free. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service provided by the catering staff, Younis and Hamid. They went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcomed and taken care of. Their attentive service truly enhanced my experience at the hotel. Moreover, the food served at the hotel was absolutely delicious. Not only was it flavorful, but it also kept me energized for my adventures in Kashmir. The culinary experience at D Shamoon Hotel is definitely a standout feature. However, I would recommend paying closer attention to the cleanliness of the hotel. Some of the towels and bedsheets appeared to be old and stained, which detracted from the overall comfort of the stay. Despite this minor issue, I would highly recommend D Shamoon Hotel for budget travelers looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Kashmir. The central location, excellent service from the catering staff, and delightful food make it a worthwhile choice for your trip to Srinagar.

Had booked D shamoon based on the good reviews but they scammed me like cheap hotels. on reaching the hotel I was told that I will be put up in a different hotel due to some water issues. However by then my taxi driver had left so I asked them to drop me at the other hotel as I had two small children and luggage. they kept me waiting for over an hour telling us that a car would be there in 5-10mins. it was only after we started to walk to the hotel that an auto rickshaw was arranged. on reaching the other hotel we realised it didn't deserve even half the price but didn't have a choice or energy after an overnight journey. they had no answer when asked why didn't they inform about the non availability of the room beforehand. So please beware of this hotel. There reviews could be fake.

We stayed for 6 days and felt it was of great value. The staff were very friendly, hospitable, and prompt in their service whenever we asked for something. The beds and pillows were comfy and we slept well on them. The breakfasts and dinners I had there, offered a good variety and I thoroughly enjoyed all the meals. The dining area was ample and quaint at the same time and again the staff were very helpful & attentive here. All in all we were treated very hospitably, basically almost like family.

It's a nice experience to have stayed here. Rooms are quite good and the staff are also quite friendly. Possibility of serving some South Indian food for the breakfast and the dinner be explored and done.

Best hotel in this price. Rooms are spacious hygienic and properly lit. They bathroom mat which is very uncommon these days in such price range. Food is okay. If u have to leave early for tour then book rooms with breakfast and enjoy it u won’t need for lunch for whole day. Rooms have individual water geyser so u won’t have problem regarding hot water. But there is no good internet so it makes hard for doing any office work. They don’t provide good sleepers for room so have a pair by yourself. Toilets are clean yet no proper ventilation so it smells sometimes. Receptionist Majeed bhai will help u in any difficulty. But In short u will enjoy the stay. Go for it.

We enjoyed here All staff are very cooperative. Room is excellent. Breakfast is very nice. Only dinner will be improving Otherwise everything good
