White cottage

We had a great experience at White Cottage. Moosa took good care of us and helped in planning the trip in Srinagar. The rooms are maintained very clean. I would love to return to White Cottage if I visit Srinagar again in the future.

I’m not a robot or hired review writer, I’m purely a traveler. What the experiences I have had at White Cottage, Shrinagar, Kashmir, that I have shared here. I had been to this property on 09.05.2024, stayed for 2 days with family – friends. The reception counter staff, Room Attendants all were very cooperative, courteous, especially the owner, Mr. Moosa! He was waiting for us at midnight to receive! Really wonderful, very cool and cool man. He guided us a lot about route, places to visit etc.. a very nice gentleman. This cottage is bit away from main road, situated in a residential area, very narrow road, but no traffic hustle bustle. Very calm and quiet place. Good location, rooms are well maintained. For middle and upper middle class people it is a very good and comfortable place to stay without any problem. Only one negative point is parking, no place to park our vehicles! I thank whole heartedly the staff and owner of this property for their services, I certainly refer to others to use this place for their stay. And I’m very sure, I prefer to stay at the same property, if I travel again on this way. It’s worth to give 4.9/5

Moosa was a great host and was very attentive and arranged for a car for us to take us to Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonmarg. The driver Fayaz was a really nice man who took us to interesting, unique locations and was always prompt. Moosa went out of his way to check if we had made it back home from Srinagar. White Cottage is located away from the craziness of hotels and tourists around Dal Lake but still convenient.

Being a person owner is good and supportive, But in room facilities are need to improve a lot , No tea catle no TV, No refrigerator, wooden almirah is also smells..basically amenities are very less as compare to shown on booking web site, Need to improve a lot.

We enjoyed our stay. Property is clean, well maintained and beds were comfortable. It is located away from noise and crowds of hotels, yet everything is walking distance accessible. Owner checked-in everyday and ensured our stay was comfortable. He arranged all transportation, arrival to departure. We recommend the property and will definitely stay again. Anil G.

Stayed at white cottage with my family and found it cozy, clean, hygenic and last but not least it was a better choice out of all. Thanks to entire team of white cottage for making ourbytip wonderfyand memorable

Moosa and his family treated us like family. They helped us arrange tours and figure out laundry and local customs. We'd come back in a heartbeat. Thank you for a great stay!

I stayed with my family for 3 nights. Excellent service, nice food, unmatched courtesy by Mr. Moosa Khurshied, the owner of the property. He would go out of the way to make you feel home and never say no for any help or service you need. Trust me, it was very memorable stay. If you need peaceful and enjoyable time, stay here!!! Thanks Moosa and Family :) I will see you in winter again...
