Hotel GRG Residency

Pathetic place to stay. Got a very very old room with a foul smell. I wonder anyone has ever stayed in that room the past year at all. The washroom was even more terrible. There is NO WASH BASIN and it's so small that you can barely stand inside the washroom without your head touching the roof. After all this, the person in charge was not willing to reduce the price at all. We could see multiple rooms being locked from outside but the owner didn't even care to take us to the other ones. PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON CHEATERS LIKE THIS

We booked this hotel through goibibo .It is not a recommendable hotel. The room which was showed during booking doesn't matches during our check in hotel. We requested them to changed the same but for one night after that they shifted us to much smaller room with dirty carpet and whose geyser was not in working condition. We shared our experience but all in vain and there manager Mr.Ahmed had just a word sorry to say . Kindly reconfirm your stay and hotel room details before you check in.

We had 5 rooms. Extremely clean rooms. Fully carpeted. Bed sheets, towels and Bathrooms are clean, Geysers are properly working in all rooms. Location wise, not far from main road. Overall very good at this price point.

✅️Worst Service Provider at Srinagar. ✅️No work ethics ✅️Extremely rude staff including owners ✅️Staff keep on telling lies ✅️No kitchen in the hotel ( which means u will not get a single drop of water/ food even at the time of emergency ) ✅️If you book for multiple days stay , they will never change your blankets or towels even if you request ✅️They will not even provide normal drinking water in Room. ✅️Tea packets will give only on the day of check in. If you book room for multiple days, you are gone. You have to beg to the so called manager to get tea bags in the room ✅️Arrogance and Attitude is the main feature of all the staff. ✅️They are not professional ✅️This is a budget hotel, that we know at the time of booking. But never expect, service and behaviour of staff will be below budget category ✅️They will treat you like refugees ✅️Managaer always talk negative about your trip, Kashmir and even about his own owner. ✅️No respect and no considerarion and help no suppport ✅️Too many false promise from the hotel end. Beware!! ✅️All 5/ 5 reviews in the google is by their staff and even owners. Once u reach there u will be able to c most of them in the hotel as staff. Our rating 0/5 ( Google have minimum 1 mark thats why we are giving that ) We think because of the non professional behaviour of staff and owners this hotel may not run for long... This review was from our experience on May 2022, Dates between May 18- May 25 Not recommended for families, Old people, Ladies team, Single ladies, Luxury travelers, budget travers. Really disappointed with the service. - Arrogant staff - Cleaning of rooms not done . When requested for changing bed sheets , found later that they just flipped the bedsheets - Wont provide water bottles or even water in jug unless you spend hours requesting for one - Absolute no cooperation or flexibility. If you ask for an early breakfast even for a single day they will tell that they cant and will give you advise that you should not visit Sonamarg staying in Srinagar. - In case they commit something , be aware that its only to be broken and then you would be blamed. Never have seen such sly , irresponsible service in the whole of Srinagar.

Very well maintained and clean place. Delicious food, Supportive staff who are more than welcoming all through the check in process. Room service and food is also top notch. stay in a budget... Definitely worth visiting and staying.

The place is good, only a bit of hygine could have been better, the staff is well behaved and the price at which it comes regarding room space and quality its really wonderful. Delux room is great

Booked GRG residency room plus cab service for three days. We had high expectations but met with low hospitality. Mr. Ahmed, manager of the said place made us change room three times. First room which was offered to us had a washroom problem which he didn't get fixed. Second room was good but he gave us only for the night. Next day, he shifted our baggage to much smaller room whose geyser didn't work. We bath in cold water for two days, no hot water was provided even after we asked for it repeatedly. At the end, he just said sorry. No other adjustment nothing else. GRG residency owner is always present in the lobby and he is the most extremely rude and arrogant person we encountered. Won't recommend to anyone. P. S. - A piece of advise for people who plan to go Kashmir, never book room with meals. In breakfast you will get just Kahwa and egg bread or maggie that's it. Wastage of money nothing else.
