Fortune JP Palace, Mysore - Member ITC hotels' group

I frequently stay at this hotel for business trips and have always been satisfied with the rooms. However, I do expect a higher level of politeness from the reception staff, which is not always consistent. Similarly, in the restaurants, the staff can be overwhelmed with handling guests and sometimes seem less concerned with providing attentive service. While the hotel frequently asks for feedback, I haven't noticed any significant improvements in the laundry service, which is an area that needs attention. On the other hand, the food taste is superb, and the gym and pool facilities are very good. Overall, it's a decent hotel with some areas for improvement, particularly in terms of staff attitude and laundry service

had a wonderful experience during my stay at fortune JP palace The staff was exceptional in every way. From the moment I arrived, they greeted me with a warm welcome and ensured all my needs were met throughout my stay. The front desk team was incredibly helpful, offering quick assistance with check-in and providing useful local information. Housekeeping did an excellent job, maintaining the room clean and comfortable. Special thanks to salim and all the housekeeping who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was pleasant. Their attentiveness and willingness to assist made a real difference. I truly appreciate the level of service provided by the hotel staff and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

We had an amazing holiday trip to Mysore in December 2024, and our stay at Fortune JP Palace made it even more special. The hotel’s facilities were top-notch, with clean and tidy rooms that offered great comfort. The Orchid Restaurant stood out with its exceptional breakfast spread, featuring a delightful mix of Indian, Western, and Chinese cuisines. A special mention goes to the management team for organizing a spectacular gala Christmas dinner with a sumptuous and elaborate spread—it was truly well received and added a festive touch to our trip.||Several individuals made our stay unforgettable:||Ms. Raeesa at the front desk was exceptional. She was courteous, well-informed, and went above and beyond to facilitate a late checkout for us, considering we had senior citizens in our group.|Mr. Shubo from the Orchid Restaurant was outstanding in serving our larger group. He was attentive, patient, and ensured that the right dishes were brought to our table, going the extra mile to make us feel cared for.|Mr. Sharath was instrumental in organizing our local tours and ensuring smooth airport pickups and drop-offs, making our travels hassle-free.|Overall, it was a 5-star experience, and we strongly recommend Fortune JP Palace to anyone visiting Mysore

I went with my friend. My stay was amazing and comfortable. Hotel is clean , service is good. Just that in the breakfast t didn't have any any appropriate in north indian food but the incharge there Abhishek Roy was sweet to get us nice aloo pyaz chees paratha. So finally that part was also taken care. We were happy by the service of the kind staff.

Being in ITC hotels group, was expecting a 4 start category. Positive - Location (Walk to Nexus Mall). Breakfast. Improvement areas: Hotel needs renovation , room floor tiles were broken. Got locked out due to the dead battery in the door lock. Rest room hand faucet was leaking water, informed them twice still did not get fixed during my two days stay.

My stay at Hotel Fortune was average overall, with some positives overshadowed by significant maintenance issues. The location is convenient, making it easy to access nearby attractions, and the breakfast was the highlight of the stay, offering a good variety of options. The service staff were courteous and attentive, doing their best to ensure a pleasant experience despite the limitations of the facilities. However, the condition of the bathrooms was a major drawback. There was a persistent foul odor every time the toilet was used, making the stay uncomfortable. Even after shifting rooms, the plumbing issues remained, indicating a systemic problem that needs urgent attention. Additionally, the bathroom fixtures were outdated and rusty, further detracting from the experience. While the staff’s efforts were commendable, the management needs to prioritize maintenance and upgrades to make the hotel a more enjoyable place to stay.

The location of this hotel is excellent. The kitchen and the staff is very helpful n good. However, the rooms did not give a feel that we are staying in a luxurious hotel. Good but not excellent.

This hotel is a bit dated for an ITC hotel. The reception area looks old - begging for upgrades. The service at the front desk and restaurant is superb. What is most disappointing however is the shower in the bathroom. Our shower had mold and mildew on the wall tiles and stains all around on the floor, what is worse, the shower had a strong stench of urine when we tried to take shower. They cleaned the shower on our complaint but not enough. The front desk manager did say they plan to upgrade the hotel. All in all, it is a 4-star hotel and ok for a night or two nights' stay.
