Best budget hotel with easy accessibility to mysore palace bus stand & theatres.

A normal 2 star hotel that is budget friendly.. Pros: Opted it since it is very near to the Mysore palace and hotels that saves major time in traveling within city.. Well maintained washroom and bed.. Cons: no room service. TV in room and lift are there but didn't work through out my stay for 2 days which disappointed the whole time.. But if you are a true traveller who wants to explore city and doesn't want to be in room till night these things doesn't affect.

Very old setup.. they don't clean the room everyday, hot water is not provided all the time , AC room is a window AC it's not effective prices are too high

Not a good choice for a family to stay, a very basic room. No TV, towel, soap, charging points (only 1). Bathroom is worst, water gets into the room every time u use it. Taps are horrible, water keeps running. Rs. 1800 is charged per room and definitely it’s not worth the money.

The Noise from the Restaurant nearby .especially from the Kitchen when they clean utensils till midnight will not let u sleep at all. You literally can't sleep it's unbearable and non stop till late night. Also any request will be taken only after insisting repeatedly.

We have visited mysore on a busy day. We didn't get any rooms. So we booked this hotel. To be truth I feel it's enough for a family. Pros Very near to palace and major locations. Room service. They served us very well. My my child get sick, since the place is new we couldn't find any medical shop nearby. They immediately got prescription from us and got us medicines. And my child cried for simple Tamilnadu tiffin. For that they went and got us tiffin. They carried all our luggages from my car to room and from room to car. Cons Actually it's an old hotel. No bright painting. Ceiling fan is very low. So that my bedsheet got stuck when i tried to fold. Bathroom and toilet looks clean but not neat . They charged Rs.1300 for a room. It is very high for that room. But in peak season we cannot find rooms and almost all hotels increases their price.

We traveled (family of 4) to Mysore on 25/01/15 - a Sunday evening. In fact we had booked a family room in Dasprakash over the phone since they do not have online paying facility yet. After reaching there to our utter shock they said there is no room available being a holiday next day too. Our search for a budget / medium budget hotel started & came out of many hotels being full. Finally we got this Hotel SCVDS & being in a superb location, we just booked a 3 bedded room.||||Hotel is on excellent location of Sri Harsha Road. Just a stone throw away from Palace, Central bus stand or market places etc. But that stops there itself. Only good thing is just the location. ||||Rooms have very basic facilities. Blankets are dirty, you wouldn't even feel like touching. Even on 3rd floor of the hotel there was mosquito menace. No toiletries kept in the bath. On requesting also, they never bothered of providing the same. Tariff was Rs.1550/- + luxury taxes. Not a good value of money at all, Thank God we had to check out early in the morning. Stay away of this place.
