The Viceroy Hotel

Room is big in size but no maintenance. There is no towel, soap even not a small toilet soap was there. Only positive point is it's location. Just opposite of the palace gate. The staff is very polite and helpful. It could be a nice hotel if maintenance would be good.

Good hotel. Maintained cleanliness. Good service. But the bathrooms are little worse. Could have improved that.overall a nice stay👍❤️

Positives- you can view Mysore palace amidst trees and at the city Center Negative - amenities, service , cleanliness, No AC though centralised AC is attached to. Parking at own risk which is road side. No basic amenities like water, towels, floor mat. Poor condition of bathroom. No proper lights in room

The worstest hotel i have ever stayed in. I didn't find negative stars and given 1 star. 1. Light problem : Only one dim light available in front of the bathroom which of 0watts and 2 table lamps which is of noooo use. 2.Charging point : Only one plug point available. That too is connected to TV which has only 20% display 3. Power Backup : When the power went off, they didn't turn on the backup. The intercom was not working. We didn't have charge in our mobile phone to use the torch and the place was completely dark due to which we were not able to go to the reception to check on this. Once power came back after an hour, which checked with the receptionist on power backup and she said now power is up. We asked y was it not turned on when power was down, there response was "We forgot to turn on". Next day at the time of vacating the room, same happened and around 20mins no power. When we checked with the receptionist (this time it was an arrogant guy), he said its under repair. We said yesterday they said something else, then he said its a machine and we cannot predict when it will behave like what. 4. Water : No drinking water will be provided. Not even a half liter water was given which even a basic hotel gives. 5. Friendship : The only advantage of the hotel is you can get many cockroach friends and u can even take them home. Room fullllll of cockroaches which even sleeps with u in the bed at night.

The rooms are spacious and large and cottages are comfortable but there no services are not available like food, etc and also AC is available but not working, and even we paid 1000 rupees per day ,but they didn't provide towel , rooms are fully hot condition they didn't even start the generator when the current is not supplied...

This hotel that we has stayed while in mysore was good for the price but then they gave some of our family friends a Very bad service. We totally took three non ac rooms, where some rooms the fans weren't working. There were no mosquito nets or even repellants provided and when we complained. They did not change the rooms. They took advance payment and did not refund the amount when we requested. A very moderate experience for the price we paid But as i would like to say ,the only thing good abt it is near mysore palace thats it . It was not very worth for money unless you select a room and get satisfied for the view thats it

We were looking for place to stay in Mysore, we ended up going to this place.Before booking we wanted to use the restroom, we politely asked the receptionist if we can use the washroom first, she very rudely replied to go out and use the restroom somewhere else and come in. We were so disappointed, because washroom and water are basic necessities. Inside the hotel looks very creepy, not safe for family. Very rude management.

It's on Sree Harsha road, Near to Chamaraja circle, opposite Ambedkar statue. Mysore Palace just a few metres away.Room was very spacious,n clean TV working, Bed was spacious n good mattress, bedsheet were clean. Unfortunately we didn't get additional toilet soap, bathroom cleanliness was average. Near to hotel there are fine restaurants both pure veg and other restaurants. Walkable distance from interstate bus stand.
