Mathura Residency

We were with the whole family at the end of December at the Mathura Residency in Shivamogga (Karnataka), very close to Gandhi Park.|The SakMathura Residency is a traditional lodge that also has a good hotel on the ground floor. |We only booked an overnight stay and I am absolutely satisfied. The quality is budget but the rooms (were very spacious and clean. There was nothing to complain about.

I don't think the negative reviews are not relevant for this current 2025, Hotel is neat and tidy, food is also good, location is biggest advantage it's in heart of the city, most underrated hotel according to me, lastly price is very reasonable, it's ₹ 1100 for a 3 sharing non ac room which is very great according to me... Overall a great stay best for family

Some rooms are very clean. Toilet Flushing valves required to be repaired immediately

Food tasted like helll… food not feeling fresh forget taste … quantity also less just name nothing left in that hotel … very bad idea to spend time to eat here … better to eat curd rice in home … waste of money … they should seriously think to close hotel soon thank you 🙏

Worst Hotel in Shimogga , almost old rooms not reniveted , cocroche are inside rooms . Toilet are smelling like gutter, hot water not coming after 8:30 .Resecption person behaviour like local roudy . So don't come here.
