Decent place if you have low budget. We got non ac room here as we just wanted a room to keep our luggage and chilling for some time as we had to catch train at night. Room are lowkey old and furniture is dated but at just 500rs its best choice if you just want place to rest.

Small Ac 2 bed room. Very small. No table or racks. Only 2 old plastic chair. Drinking water not available even after frequent call. Tv is here. But no cable connection. Ac is in corner working on main switch. No remote for control. Happy to say that a ceiling fan is working with full speed with damaged regulator. Room boys ...very sorry to say... won't be available in needy. Furniture are very old. In bathroom cups and bucket are nearly 5 years old.

Not happy. Room boys not there. No space for keeping things. Lift is from ground floor. Entering lodge, elderly have to claim steep 15 steps which is difficult to claimb. Lifts can be extended to parking level. Rent is costly considering the existing facility.Furniture are old and damaged.

I am disappointed with this guest house.. Even maids are rude.. I and my son were sick and stayed in this guest house.. When we were going to hospital my son omitted.. Other Than water nothing was there in that liquid. When I informed maid they spoke rudely and told me to clean flour where my son omitted. I and my son not able to stand and she can see that but instead of helping she behaved rudely. How can people behave rudely in presence of devine energy and God place.

I had an incredible experience staying at the temple-operated mutt rooms close to Udupi Temple. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the staff who were extremely courteous and attentive throughout my stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered all the basic amenities I needed for a pleasant stay. The proximity to Udupi Temple was a major highlight, as I could easily walk to the temple and immerse myself in the serene atmosphere at any time of the day. Being close to the temple also allowed me to witness the beautiful rituals and ceremonies without any hassle. What impressed me the most was the affordable price of the rooms, considering the convenient location and the quality of service provided. It truly offered great value for money, making it an ideal choice for budget-conscious travelers like myself. The ambiance of the mutt was serene and peaceful, providing a perfect setting for relaxation and spiritual rejuvenation. The staff's dedication to maintaining the cleanliness and tranquility of the place was commendable. I highly recommend these temple-operated mutt rooms to anyone visiting Udupi Temple. Whether you're on a spiritual pilgrimage or exploring the beautiful town, this place will surely exceed your expectations. The guesthouse is maintained by one of the 8 mutts (mathas) set up by Swami Madhavacharya. Therefore, the rooms and service is functional. In this year I have stayed here twice - in Jan 2023 and today. The rooms are satisfactory. Check out is 24 hrs and this makes it convenient to to stay here. All temples are within a walking distance of 2-3 minutes only.

The rooms are well maintained. Both AC and Non AC rooms are pocket friendly. The guest house is very near to shree krishna temple. Ample parking for cars.
