New Admar Mutt Udupi

This is a decent guest house with spacious rooms. Rooms and toilets are clean and well-maintained. Being a guest house, there is no service. One drawback is that hot water is not consistently available in the early mornings, which could be a point of bother for some.

DON'T BOOK THIS GUEST HOUSE They charge room tariff of 2500 for AC room but the room is very claustrophobic. You cannot open window as they is wall opposite. On asking they say all rooms are same. Hot water is only available from 5.30 to 8.30. they say because of Solar all water is used. For tea and coffee they charge 20rs each which is very high as compared to hotels. In name of admar mutt they are looting. I feel only reason to book this guest house is they provide 24hours stay. Otherwise it's not at all worth to pay much for such a stay

A very value for money accomodation in Udupi. The rooms were new, clean and spacious. The best part is the close proximity to the temple. There are good restaurants in the vicinity.

If you are visiting Sri Krishna Temple, this is just outside one of the gates. Decent, modest and neat rooms. Good for family. Booking has to be done by phone. Did not find a 4 wheeler parking area. There was limited space for two wheeler parking.

Had a 3 days stay in New Admar Mutt and it was a very pleasant one. The best part it is just adjacent to the Sri Krishna temple so you get to listen the early morning bhajans and prayers. The auto stand is just 1 minute walk so the location is the biggest advantage for this guest house. Good vegetarian restaurants are within 2 kms. The pricing also is very reasonable with very good maintenance. The staff people were very friendly and helpful. Definite recommendation 👍

We visited udupi for temple visit and stayed here. Very near and walkable to temple. The rooms were super neat and within budget. They have a small restaurant opposite to their building and room service available. Zomato delivery is also available. Walkable to shopping area behind the temple. No space for parking

The rooms are spacious,clean and Hygienic. Service is also good. Rooms at affordable prices. Only drawback is non availability of parking place.
