I am truly thankful for the opportunity to share this heartfelt review. We booked rooms for my wedding function, and I must say, it turned out to be an incredibly wonderful experience. The reception staff went above and beyond to assist us, and everyone at the hotel was genuinely helpful. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel so valued and cherished. The rooms were excellent, and the food at the restaurant was simply delicious. I can’t wait for the chance to stay with you again in the future. We selected them to perform a wedding. Planning in place to ensure every detail. All was flawlessly executed with 2 hostesses. They provided a tranquil escape and a truly unforgettable experience. Mani curated every detail in advance, worked through last minute changes/modifications tirelessly to create our wedding like no other. He is truly an asset. We found this hotel after a venue recce of many days. Each room was examined and shortlisted, but we did eventually have some issues regarding faucets, furniture and air-con. Delicious food cum drinks were one of the highlights. Traditional Kerala Sadhya served on banana leaves to dessert lead to an exceptional culinary experience loved by all guests.|Dedicated services included themed décor, curated day to day menus amidst impeccable hospitality. Photo cum video team took us through a nostalgic journey with stunning backdrops. The banquet hall was customised to our taste with beautiful seating selection but the audio-visual equipment provided was not state-of-the-art.|They have the space, organisation, cuisine, parking space and pool in the heart of the town.|This overwhelming experience lingers long after the celebrations ended.

My family and I had an exceptional experience during our recent stay at Sopanam Heritage for my sister's marriage. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality and professionalism of your staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and each member of your team went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The accommodations were superb, offering both comfort and charm, which perfectly matched the significance of our family gathering. The rooms were well-maintained and spacious, providing a great space for us to relax and celebrate together. Additionally, the dining experience was delightful. The atmosphere during our stay contributed greatly to the joyous occasion of my sister’s wedding. The hotel’s facilities and ambiance provided a beautiful backdrop for family gatherings, making our celebrations even more memorable. Thank you once again for your outstanding service, especially Mr. Sumod and Team and for making our stay so special. We look forward to returning to Hotel Sopanam Heritage in the future and will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Great property, great location, great stay! We stayed at this property just for a day. We booked 3 non-ac rooms for our group as we got a great deal Rs.800 per room on Agoda. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Delicious breakfast with coffee and tea was included in our stay. Both Temple and railway station are close by and are a 4-5 minute walk. Swimming pool is very good and we enjoyed it. The only downside was the problem of mosquitos. Ours was non-ac rooms and we opened the windows to let the fresh air in, this ended up having too many mosquitoes. My only feedback to the hotel staff is put a mosquito mesh on the windows or a mosquito repellents in the non-ac rooms. Advise to travelers - If you are booking non-ac rooms do get a mosquito repellents from a local store to make your stay better!! I would still give this a 5-star rating, nice hotel !!

Sopanam is a wonderful place and close to the temple. We conducted our marriage there, we did not have any difficulties, it was handled and taken care of completely by the wonderful staffs. The sadhya was amazing and especially as we were from a different town everything was organized from their side. We would surely visit sopanam again and again

Hotel Sopanam Heritage have excellent ambience, spacious rooms and ample parking. We stayed for one night in one of their Premium AC rooms, which was very spacious and well kept. The room was well furnished with a King size bed and neat linen. They have also provided a kettle and supplies for tea and coffee. The hotel also have a restaurant and room service too. The breakfast was good, but would like to see improvements. To visit the temple, we used our vehicle, since we were told that it will take 8-10 minutes, if we walk. Overall, we are thoroughly satisfied...

Stayed at Sopanam Heritage Guruvayur as part of a wedding group . Rooms are good & service is also fine . Housekeeping services are excellent & the team headed by Renjith is doing a great job ! The security personnel will arrange an auto to go to the temple if required although it’s only a 10-15 minute walk to the temple . The buffet breakfast though falls far below expectations maybe coz it’s given complimentary!

The overall maintenance is poor – facilities are not well-kept, and cleanliness standards are far below acceptable. Even more concerning is the toxic work environment I observed and heard. The management seems unprofessional, and there is a clear pattern of mistreatment from higher-level staff toward their team. It's disheartening to see such behavior in a hospitality setting where respect and professionalism should be a priority. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone – whether as a guest or a potential employee. There are far better options out there that value both their staff.
