NillWe recently hosted a family wedding at Salika hall , Lalitha Inn, in Guruvayoor. The hall's proximity to the Guruvayoor Temple made it an ideal location, especially for a traditional wedding ceremony. Located close to the Guruvayoor Temple, making it convenient for temple visits and rituals. It was easy for guests to access, especially for those coming for a destination wedding. The hall was decent sized to comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests, anymore than that would make it slightly cramped . The interiors and decoration were done well and in time for the event. Catering Services: The in-house catering provided traditional Kerala cuisine, the food was authentic, fresh, and had 2 types of payasam which was the highlight ! The staff and management team was extremely helpful, handling every detail with professionalism and ensuring that everything went according to plan. Special mention to Preethi who coordinated with us throughout and went the extra mile to ensure the event went ahead smoothly. Thank you !

NillI attended a friend's wedding here today (22/08/24). Regarding my stay, it was satisfactory; the room was clean and well-maintained, although it felt overpriced for its small size. However, I want to clarify that my rating is primarily based on the sadhya, which I consider a key element of a traditional Kerala wedding. Unfortunately, it was entirely disappointing. This was the worst sadhya I've ever had, and calling it a sadhya would be an insult to the real thing. The catering staff serving the sadhya were extremely sluggish and seemed clueless about how to serve. It took them nearly 30 minutes to begin serving after everyone had seated for the meal. Each dish took around 3 to 5 minutes to be served, and some guests didn’t even receive all the items on their banana leaf. The experience felt more like a "Vallam Sadhya," as we had to repeatedly call the servers to ask for the dishes they missed, and water was only offered when most people were nearly done eating. I’m not sure if it’s a local custom in this area of Kerala to serve each dish, including rice, in minimal portions and not offer seconds, but that’s what happened. I’ve not exaggerated anything here—this is exactly what I experienced today. Management should take note that having such irresponsible staff will undoubtedly harm their business and reputation.

NillThere is no parking space available in the auditorium. The rooms are very small and are at a very high price. Small auditorium with around 150 people capacity.

NillHere is my sincere feedback based on my experience at this hotel. We use to frequently visit Guruvayoor stay 2-3 days and return. I use to Stay at Vyshak, this is the first time I stay in Lalitha Inn. Both properties were managed by same person. 1. I feel Vyshak is better managed property compared with Lalitha. It highly mismanaged property. 2. The lights were switched off and were completely dark in the evening until I walked to reception and asked the guy who were at reception. 3. Room service done only twice. The reason we got is "less no of people". On 16th morning we tried calling reception multiple times around 7 am, no one was picking the call. First time I am experiencing it in any hotel 4. I stayed for 3 days - No one cleaned the room on any given day. On Sunday based on request a guy set the bed but a hotel at this cost should ensure the room is cleaned in regular basis 5. Lot of mosquitos were there, Vehicle sounds, Blinking Light straight at window making night miserable Good Things 1. Lady Receptionist at Lalitha Inn is well mannered 2. Anjali Restaurant at Vyshak is good. People who serve food is also having good service mindset. The lunch served on Uthradam was very tasty compared to Onam and Avittam 3. Anjali Restaurant undergone some renovations and now it looks very good Recommendation 1. Have a person dedicated for Service at Lalitha Inn. Have a wider reception and see a roof top kind of dinning. 2. Route the reception number to Vyshak if no one can manage at Lalitha after Evening hours. The Receptionist at daytime is better 3. Dedicate a person for regular Room Cleaning Rating: Vyshak can be rated 4 to 4.5 out of 5 while Lalitha Inn go for 2 to 2.5
