PANCHAJANYAM REST HOUSE, GURUVAYOOR(പാഞ്ചജന്യം)

Stayed for a night with family in 3 bed non AC room. Was able to conveniently book online. Booking can be done 90 days in advance. The cost of the room was very minimal but the room was very spacious and well maintained including the bathroom. Checkin process with 500 rupees refundable deposit was smooth process. Very courteous staff. Ample car parking space as well. No towel or soap or blankets are provided. Will have to carry our own. The temple is just 5 minutes away. Best place to stay in Guruvayur for sure.

We had booked 2x 3bed non AC rooms.. Well maintained, cleaned and hygiene rooms... Easy accessibility to temple.... Have good parking facility... The 2 room is sufficient to accomodate 5 adult and 3 kids ..3 bedroom rooms can accommodate 4/5adults ... Without an AC thr room provide much cooliness... Bathrooms are neat and clean.... Washbasin is outside the bathroom... Only drawback is the bedsheet and there is no blanket....

Rooms are good. Only online Booking is allowed. Below is the bill of two AC three bedroom prices with a caution deposit of 1000 which is refundable. Very limited parking space available. The restaurant at ground floor is good serving kerala style food. Bring cash for a caution deposit. Stay is walkable distance from the temple.

Prime location to stay for temple dharshanam. But rooms average, beds are ok and pillow are below average and they do not provide any extra pillow neither they have any room service. Hot water was assured but only in words.

I had a great experience staying at Panchajanyam. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and all the basic amenities were in place. The staff was friendly and made check-in and check-out smooth. Would definitely consider staying here again. Location was convenient too as it is located very close to the temple.

Panchajanyam Rest House is one of the best budget-friendly stays in Guruvayur. The rooms are spacious, well-lit, and neatly maintained with all basic amenities in place. Clean bathrooms, ample fans, a cupboard, table, and provision for both hot and cold water make the stay comfortable. We took 2 triple non-ac rooms. Clean good rooms. Spacious. Running hot water throughout the day is a blessing. Staff service is rather minimal or non-existent. Proximity to temple is very convenient. The biggest attraction is Pazhayidam Ruchi Restaurant available within the premises is a great USP. Good parking; at a cost of Rs.30 for a day. Intrigued, why they take money for parking when someone has taken an accomodation there. I would certainly revisit the place..

The experience was pathetic. Booked a 5 bed Non A/C room. 4 out of the 5 members arrived in the afternoon and checked in. After, temple visit they went to attend a function around 30 kms away. Me, the 5th person came at 09:00 PM while the others went out. They didn't keep the keys in reception as they didn't know I was coming. Even, if they knew I was coming, they couldn't have kept the keys in the reception as there policy doesn't allow them to keep the keys (this is what one guy in the reception told me when I reached). So, I went and asked whether they could open the door with the spare key, so I can rest. I came after a 4 hour bike ride through heavy rain. Every lodge must have a spare key. But, that one guy in the reception told me they do not have spare key and it is not their problem. He also told me they also don't keep the keys of customers while they go out. Then I asked, so what shall I do till they come back, and he was like do whatever you want I don't care, that kind of attitude. He made me wait 1:30 minutes until my family came back. I was soaking wet. Also asked another guy in the reception whether there is any vehicle washing center nearby, as I have a vehicle pooja tomorrow. He was like not even responding properly, he said no he doesn't know any nearby and just walked by without letting me ask anymore. With the room. Spacious and all. But, only 3 wall fans in three spots for 5 bed. No proper air is getting. These fans are a waste. Only one water bottle for 5 person room. No towel. Bedsheets are filthy. Very dirty. The only good thing about this lodge is the proximity to temple. Remaining all is a waste. The staffs (front desk) are very arrogant.
