The guy who is in charge of bar... Really don't care about attending... He was not at all good for service... Just the local waiters were good. And he asked extra bill which we didn't had... Just because I said I was going to get a review... Dont come here my friends

I went to the downstairs bar only. It's a nice old building and I enjoyed my visit. However, I was charged 350 rupees for a Kingfisher Ultra, which I thought at the time was a bit steep, and it appears from recent reviews that other people have paid less. Perhaps the barman just decided I could afford to pay him a bit more than others- it's not a lot of money but leaves a bad taste.

We were two friends visiting the XL bar and had a very nice experience. This review is only about the bar restaurant. It is a local bar in Fort Kochi and we were happy to have experienced the local drinking scene. The crowd was mostly youngsters and middle aged men. The alcohol is also super cheap here. Must try for a local bar experience in Fort Kochi. Note: this is not a fancy place and therefore expect it to be crowded and shabby.

This review is for the Bar. I didn't use the restaurant or hotel. The bar sells cold bottled beers for approx 250rs and a few spirits. There are several tables cooled by ceiling fans and if you want a beer, this is one of the few places to go.

While it doesn't provide the sprawling space that some might prefer, it guarantees an intimate setting that's conducive to striking up conversations with fellow patrons. On the right day, you can find a spot to quietly enjoy a cricket match, sipping on your drink, and soaking in the ambiance. One of the highlights of XL Hotel Bar is its clientele – predominantly locals who bring with them stories, laughter, and warmth. It’s the kind of place where new friendships can be forged over shared tales and drinks. That said, if you're seeking a venue with an expansive menu or more upscale amenities, this might not be the first pick. We ordered Bacardi lemon, and the rum which was served tasted like rose water, so we did not even finish it and the waiter even brought us the whole bottle and the whole bottle smelled like rose water. I've a request, even if you're keeping your own drinks at least try to bring up the flavour.

I am really disapointed, we went their Beer and wine restaurant in the downstaires with the better expectations but the counter staffs Say's only self services is available thats okay but the very rude attitude from both of old mens treated us we came here free services. They don't even give any kind of touchings. Very bad people services here but i want to emphasis the location was great.
