Ginger House Museum Hotel

Stayed here for 5 nights. the building is beautiful and the setting is great. the service is great the staff will do everything they can to make you feel welcome and are very helpful. the location is very safe and in a tourist area with many shops. it dies down at night so you will have to rely on uber to get to places for dinner/drinks as nobody is around at night. Pool area could do with some love but still very usable and gets the sun.

I stayed here with my mum for 3 nights in November 2024. We arrived quite late at night straight from the airport and were shown to our beautiful room with no need for check in until the morning. It was greatly appreciated after such a long trip! We slept incredibly well in the beautiful comfortable bed with our view over the water. The owner, manager and staff all made our stay so comfortable and really cared about our well-being and happiness. We would thoroughly recommend staying here, right in the heart of Jew Town, and a quick 10 minute tuk tuk to Fort Cochin.

Outstanding service and property. My wife and I were very impressed with the authenticity of the room, which was very large and simply an amazing staff everywhere. Very good food at their restaurant as well as the views from every spot on the property. Simply put, we would recommend to anyone!

My group was booked at the hotel for three nights and I arrived one day early. A delightful experience, the staff showed care and enthusiasm. George organised a pick up at Kochi International airport, worth every dollar (AUD50.00). A variety of well priced dishes in the charming restaurant for breakfast or dinner. Antique wooden doors and ceilings, figures and all decor are exceptional. An aesthetic experience in the middle of historic Jew Town.

Located in Jew Town, it's easy to find as one walks through the quarter. It's part of the Ginger House Museum Hotel, so you can also browse through the museum collections while on your way in or out. The ambience and views from the restaurant are gorgeous.

The food was great, definitely try the ginger ice cream. Thanks to Sourav who took care of us and gave us excellent service. The view is beautiful, its right on the water. And they made me feel special on ky birthday.

While walking into the hotel, we had an awful experience with the manager, who was extremely rude and unwelcoming. We simply wanted to check out the restaurant and the views before deciding to dine, but he refused and made us feel profiled. It was the worst display of hospitality I've encountered in Kochi.
