Hotel Paramount Tower

This place is not properly maintained. Rooms are spacious. However, the plug points were loose, I had to try many tricks to start charging my phone. There was a kettle that wouldn't heat up. The toilet looked clean but it stinked. The flush buttons had trouble working smoothly. Strangely, I had to go through long episodes of noisy drilling and hammering right after midnight! Who would choose to do such maintenance work at midnight in a hotel!!

I enjoyed the stay with my mother and son in this hotel but they didn’t mind to share the bill during the check out instead the receptionists gave us send off only with their smiling faces only😊. Make sure to share the bill summary to the customer even if they don’t ask so that it will increase the credibility of the hotel. I am sharing this information here so that the hotel owner should be aware that people are not fools as they seemed to be. I would give five but due to this complaint I am giving 3 star rating.

As a regular visitor to this hotel, I have generally enjoyed my stays here. However, during my last visit, I was disappointed with the attitude of the reception staff. Their behavior was unprofessional and far from the friendly and welcoming service I have come to expect.

First of all this is not a 4 star hotel. Its just their marketing gimmick. Their centralised air conditioner in rooms sucks. We had to change room in middle of the night because of poor working ac. The second room they've given us also was the same. Poor hygiene and room was full of bad odour like cigarettes. Staffs service was okay.

We booked a deluxe room for ₹3920, but were shocked to find stool-like stains in the closet. When we reported this to the reception, they dismissed it as water stains. However, after testing the bidet shower, we discovered that the stains washed away, proving otherwise. To make matters worse, the main shower wasn’t working. We reported these issues again, and the receptionist moved us to Room 608. In the new room, the curtains were visibly darkened with dust and mold, and there was no hot water. When we informed the receptionist, he claimed that hot water would flow after keeping the tap running for 15 minutes. Later, a plumber arrived and informed us that the hot water pipe had been switched off, contradicting the receptionist's explanation. This was all happening at around 10:50 pm. I’ve stayed at this hotel regularly whenever visiting Kozhikode, but after this experience, I won’t be returning. To add to the frustration, we were moved to a standard room but weren’t refunded the difference in tariff.

Yesterday, I had my engagement at Paramount Tower, and everything was perfect! The venue was elegant.The food was excellent. A special mention to Ajin Mathew for his exceptional service—he went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. His attention to detail and commitment to making the event special were truly impressive. Thank you for making our day so memorable!

This hotel's location is incredibly convenient for travelers. Being situated near the railway station simplifies your commute. Easy access to the second railway entrance is a definite plus. Guests appreciate the tasty breakfast options available.

Had a pleasant stay, rooms are clean and good air conditioning. Breakfast buffet was awesome. Good for those who prefer a calm and neat stay. Front office staff was friendly and appreciate Swetha from front office desk who was prompt and helpful from Check In to Check Out procedures. Internet wifi signal was very weak though. Overall a gr8 stay.
