Plaza Residency

Great location, friendly staff, but needs better upkeep We stayed at Plaza Residency for over a week. The location is very central and convenient, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and Kozhikode railway station. That said, the pricing feels slightly high considering the condition and amenities provided. One of the main concerns was the lack of basic provisions—items like bath towels, soap, or bottled water were only provided when specifically asked for, even after room cleaning. These essentials should ideally be refreshed as part of daily housekeeping. The staff at the front desk and general service team were friendly and helpful, and we appreciated their polite behavior throughout our stay. However, the maintenance standards are low, with slow responses to repair issues and cleanliness not consistently up to the mark. It also felt like more attention was given to Arab guests, possibly due to a regular customer base, which may leave other guests feeling slightly overlooked. Overall, if you're staying for location and helpful staff, it's manageable. But for the price, better maintenance, consistent housekeeping, and equal treatment of all guests would make the experience far more satisfying.

No hot water in the room given at first , room was very nice , then later given a different room which was small but good, bathroom was best ..still cleaning of beds etc has to be perfect as there was dust on the pillows and bed. Cost is very high , had to take it as I was operated and no other place had lift facility.

Clean rooms and Affordable prices and easy accesss to MIMS hospital. Recommended for anyone undergoing treatment in MIMS.
