Hotel Rain Forest

Located very close to boating and reserve forest. Walkable distance from the Kumili check post and bus stand. The staff are friendly and they speak both Tamil and Malayalam. I paid 500 for a 1 night and 2 day stay. The amenities are minimal, don't expect everything to be glossy. No towel provided but I understand I can't expect it for the price I paid. Before hiring a room check for its quality. Suitable for backpackers and solo travelers. NOT recommended for families as a lot of unmarried youngsters stay in this property. No power back up. This place is located just opposite Kathakali Center.

Average hotel. Dont expect much facilites. If you want just to stay, then this is ok. If you want to feel the place, then this is not. Room cleaniness is ok, bathroom not upto the mark. Rs 600 for one room. Suitable for families and friends.

It's a good place for quick refreshment in Kumily. Just 4km away from Thekkady.
