I was here for a family function of about 200 people. Everything was good except the way the receptionist was behaving. He seemed very uninterested and unwelcoming towards the guests. Nice and clean hall The dining area could have been better Food was good Clean bathrooms Ample parking space Nice location of the property

Ritzy Malabar, The Retreat Hotel is one of the best options for travellers to stay and have Veg & Non-Veg food with Alcohol service while driving towards Malappuram/Kozhikkode from Palakkad via Mannarkkad. Located one kilometre from Mannarkkad Police Station area on Tipu Sultan Road towards Kongad, on your right-hand side. Tasty food, Good atmosphere, Good Service, Few seating space and Ample Parking Area... They have Three types of Bars (1 Non-AC, 1 AC, and 1 Executive AC) We tried Kerala Parotta, Crispy Chilly Beef, Chicken 65. Kerala Parotta and Chicken 65 are average ones and Chilly Beef was Superb. Cost wise it's little above standard rates in AC Bar Restaurant but it is expected in an AC Bar. Another negative felt is the toilet facility is not clean. Total Rating 3 out of 5

BAR is decent, better not to go for any side dishes as they were raided by food safety departments in the past for unhygienic and old food.

Have booked a Room in yatra. This hotel management has given bulk booking and made me to stand without room along with family and kids. The reception fellow was very rude to respond. Yatra has given a mail stating that sorry we couldnt honour your booking due to bulk Marriage booking by the Hotel. Worst experience...

Poor service....very poor staff...the staffs are stealing without the knowledge of it's owners..those who knows the staff or are related to them gets double amount of liquor than what's paid for... especially the bartender at the ground floor...owners need to look into this coz it's them who suffer..it's a hotel/bar of cheaters..please boycott this hotel if you don't wanna get cheated..a place full of thieves

When Ritzy malabar opened about three years ago, I was happy as it was a clean hotel with a resturant and toilet facilities for a traveller.. It opened with a bang. and the food was good, slowly the quality went down, managers and cooks were changed as frequently as shirts, and standards fell. The dining room shifted to a small room, and I realized the place was meant for tipplers and not a family. They have various bars, local bar, A/C bar nonA/C bar etc.The food is so spicy you will catch fire, there is no consistency, nor is there availability. Their revenue is from liquor sales, so they cant be bothered about the family coming.
