Lilly Gardens

We stayed at lily gardens for two days. The owners were very caring and they took care of each of our needs. Though the rooms were not so specious but the stay was quite comfortable. Bathrooms were quite clean. We took two rooms and no complaints for the rooms. The Kerala food was served as breakfast and it was so delicious that we demanded the same breakfast the next day. We ordered for lesser spicy food as dinner as we came across spicy food everywhere we went in Kerala and to our amazement, it was prepared and served very well. We are missing our stay as the host became a part of our family and developed a bond specially with our younger 5 yrs old daughter. Though the stay is 15 kms away from Munnar but situated among serene surroundings and away fro hustle and bustle of the city. We highly recommended this home stay.

Overall my rating will be 2.5. Although it's bit away from Munnar town but well connected as it's on the road to Cochin. People @ home were very courteous. Food is not bad but needs improvement.||||Good property but lacks maintenance. No hot water they give it in buckets / Smell at bathroom / Doors are not closing properly.||||Repeat visit to the same property : NO

I travelled Munnar in the month of February. One day during sight seeing activities we stopped there for lunch (FoodLand). Its 14 kms away from the main town. After the lunch the owner of this holiday home showed us the rooms. There were around 9-10 rooms in this Holiday home. Though from outside, it look like an average Home stay but when we checked the rooms we were amazed to see all the amenities inside the rooms. The rooms were clean, beautiful and big. Special mention to the bathrooms which were fitted with steam bath equipments and bath tub. The rooms can be compared to a 4 star hotel rooms. Though we didn't stay there but next time if we visit Munnar, we would definitely stay there.||I would suggest this Homestay to those travellers who are looking to stay away from the town and are on relaxation tour. This property is no "Star" property. It is too good for the price. Breakfast is served complimentary which includes 2 to 3 options like idlis, dosa, etc..||||There are two rooms with bath tubs on each floor. ||The property is 14 kilometers from Munnar (Before Munnar if you are traveling from Kochi)||||Bed quality is good.||Bathroom needs little improvement as the room I was staying in was having foul smell.

We had the worst experience of our life. Its during our annual vaccation in March that v were so unfortunate that v had to stay over there for one day. It took almost 4 hrs for the dinner to arrive. The rooms were stinking and when complained about that we were given Rexona soap to b kept in the room as there was no air freshner. The hotel is around 15 kms away from munnar town ,but they mentioned it was just 3 kms away from munnar town.Even though it was so hot there was no fan, leave alone the A/c which was not working.If u really want to enjoy your stay in munnar pls don't go to lily gardens home stay.

fascinating atmosphere but the services are not apt. spacious standard rooms but insufficiency of bathroom attachments. hot water pipes and other equipments are not good. bed and pillow covers ||are not cleaned well.An average home stay.||||sureshbabu||kdy

This is one of the excellent homestay in MUNNAR.As a traveler I stayed many places but this place make such like a home. The owners are very friendly and can available at any time.So you deserve this review.Thanking you see u in the next visit.

Great atmosphere... Homely food... Love this place|Great experience|My rating is 5|Super place|i reccomend you to visit this place ones you came to munnar... the hotel lilly guardens is quite awsome... Thanks for this lovely place... Really really good hotel that i never visit before..
