PATHETIC EXPERIENCE Stayed there for a day with the family. The overall stay experience was not at all pleasant. The staff was rude and impolite. Place feels to be run like street boys not professional at all. They claim to be a 3 star hotel but the service and room is not even comparable to a 2 star. The pricing is not at all justified.

I recently stayed at Hotel Munnar Castle and had a mixed experience. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its excellent location. It's situated in a prime area, making it easy to access all the major attractions in Munnar. This convenience really enhanced our trip. However, there were several downsides to our stay. The cleanliness of the hotel was average at best. We had to remind the staff every day to clean our room, as they wouldn't do it otherwise. This lack of proactive service was disappointing. Another issue we encountered was the additional charges for basic amenities. They even charge for paper plates, which we found quite unreasonable. If you're ordering food from Zomato, make sure to order plates as well because the hotel doesn't provide them without a fee. The hygiene in the hotel was also a concern. There was a strange, dirty smell in the washrooms and it seemed to linger throughout the entire hotel. This made our stay less comfortable than we had hoped.

Overall, the hotel and restaurant provide excellent value for money, making it a top choice for travelers seeking comfort, good food, and exceptional service.

Budget hotel, located 10 minutes walking from city market area. Cleanliness was up to mark. Rooms are not very spacious for groups. Food is also okay. Room service was swift. Overall fine.

Munnar Castle is a great hotel in Munnar town! Good service, comfortable stays, and stunning views of the Munnar colony from the rooms, especially during monsoon. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

Easy to locate, accurate guidance, ample parking space, friendly staff, clean rooms and 24*7 hot water supply for showers. Room service is good. You might think that rooms are overpriced but they are value for money once you check out other cottages and rooms in the areas (which I did, and they are a sham- never trust guys who offer cottages in munnar unless you are into poorly maintained buildings with little to no service at all. ) Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

The truth is only the location was good. Horrible behaviour by the staff when my brother ordered they took wrong orders and they were fighting, limited food items , actually you know their restaurant staff can't behave properly only.
