Soorya Residency is a good and affordable hotel to stay in Palakkad. It is right on Robinson Road, near the District Hospital. It's easy to reach — just about 5 km from the railway station and only 750 meters from the KSRTC Bus Stand. I stayed in a Standard AC room for 1 night and 2 days, and it was a good experience. The room was clean and comfortable, with a small balcony, a double bed with a blanket, chairs, a table, side table, wardrobe, AC, and a TV with dish connection. The bathroom was okay too, with towel, soap, shampoo, and even hair oil. They could improve cleanliness a bit more, especially in the balcony and wardrobe areas. Breakfast was served in the room at a small cost, which was very useful. There is an AC Bar on the ground floor and a Rooftop Bar on top. They serve drinks, snacks, and food at good prices — a nice place to relax. There is also a Spa Center on the 3rd floor. If you come by car, parking is not a problem, as they have enough space. The best part of my stay was the friendly and helpful staff — the person at the reception, the security, and the service staff were all polite and made me feel welcome. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and budget-friendly place in the center of Palakkad.
