Vivanta Thiruvananthapuram

It is a nice city hotel, about 30 minutes drive from Thiruvananthapuram airport. The hotels arranges transport at a price. Rooms are nice and spacious and one gets a city view. Housekeeping is regular and efficient. Vegetarian food is excellent and has a reasonable variety. Hotel has a nice indoor bar.|Hotel and resturant staff are very polite and courteous. Front desk was efficient and check-in and check-out eas very smooth and fast. |Resturant staff was very understanding and Liawan and Ria were attentive, efficient and took care to meet dietary requirements and other requests. Several of the staff were trainees and it was nice to see them work enthusiastically, trying to learn quickly, and efficient in their jobs. |There are sever many shops close by. A very large dress store, Kalyan Silks is across the street and has every kind of dress for all ages and all occasions readily available. |Overall a pleasant stay.|Rajan

The stay was excellent! The staff was courteous and very pleasant. The room was spacious and well kept. The wash room cleanliness epitomises the overall cleanliness. The score is 05/05. The Sous Chef Amar Nath made our dining experience delightful. He proactively reached us to enquire about the cuisines. He recommended cuisines which he took personal care to serve was humbling.

I had a wonderful experience at Vivanta Trivandrum. The hotel offers a warm and welcoming ambiance, with well-maintained, comfortable, and clean rooms. The staff was exceptionally courteous and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. The dining experience was delightful, featuring a variety of delicious dishes that showcased great quality and taste. The amenities were also well-maintained, making my stay even more enjoyable. We booked the Pongala Kit, and they provided everything we needed, so we didn't have to worry about preparing anything. The staff was very helpful throughout our stay. Overall, I had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Vivanta Trivandrum. I look forward to visiting again!

Everything was perfect as expected. Good nice clean rooms, property very well maintained and managed. Entire team was welcoming and cooperative. I just felt that for kids they should not have charged for extra bed as I stayed there for 3 nights that should have been complimentary as most taj properties i visited never charge for kid extrabed that too below 6 yrs.

The hotel is a good place to stay for vacation. But if you want good WiFi and work… then be prepared to pay 800Rs for 24 hrs of premium WiFi. The standard WiFi is slow and will not help you work ||Not just work .. even if you have something urgent you need a decent network connection… then this is not the place for it||They have decent food and the chai is reallyyyy good

We were here for 4-5 days during Attukal Devi Pongala. I must say our stay was spectacular and the Pongala arrangements by the staff was just another level. They arranged for everything starting with booking a spot till getting all raw materials. Their service did not end here they even managed the event quite well. With such a big event on one side their other services were ongoing as normal. A big shout out to the complete team Rahul, Anthony from front office. Tea specialist Mohan was just superb. All chefs, front officer staff and even the guards at the door. Just amazing. I will continue to come every year to Vivanta :)

Extremely Disappointing Experience at VivantaHotels Trivandrum – A Letdown for the TajHotels and the Tata Legacy I am absolutely appalled by the treatment I received at Vivanta Trivandrum, a property under the esteemed TajHotels , which is known globally for its hospitality. However, my experience here was anything but welcoming. I arrived at the hotel after renting a bike, expecting the same level of respect and convenience offered to guests arriving by car. Shockingly, there was no proper bike parking facility. The staff denied valet parking, directing me to park the bike myself in a staff parking area, not even a designated guest space. I was told there was a lift service — which turned out to be false. Instead, I had to climb two floors every single time I entered or left the hotel. This complete disregard for guest convenience and lack of empathy is unacceptable, especially from a brand carrying the legacy of the Ratan tata and his reputation, who built this empire on the values of excellence and customer care. It’s disheartening to see those values so blatantly ignored. For anyone visiting Trivandrum and planning to rent a bike, I strongly recommend choosing alternative hotels like marriott or hyatt, where your comfort and dignity as a guest are respected. Vivanta’s negligence and failure to provide basic amenities tarnish the reputation of the Taj brand. I hope the management takes immediate action to address these issues and ensure future guests are treated with the care and respect that the Taj name stands for.

Had stayed there for two nights last week , The room what we got first was stinking of some kind of medicine but yes upon request we got the room changed but again the pillows covers were stained and the bath towels too were not as clean n white as it’s supposed to be . Location wise it’s perfect. We did have great expectations when it’s Viventa..
