Rose Garden Beach resort

We stayed at Rose Garden just after the flooding in August and we really enjoyed our time there. The family were incredibly helpful in terms if providing us with suggestions for day trips and activities and reassuring us that everything was safe in and around Munnar. Wonderful breakfasts on the balcony and great dinners in the evening. We really felt part of the family for a couple of days. Highly recommended and we'd love to come back one day.

Rose Garden is heaven. Away from all the madness on the cliff (though only 10 minutes if you fancy some madness!). 3 minutes to the beach for a morning swim, stopping of course for a fresh coconut drink from the Coconut Seller. The rooms have great balconies, some bigger than others, and lots of personal touches. And Shyam the owner does his ritual puja every morning and evening in the reception area. The place is so clean - everywhere is spotless. The sign say 'Clean Rooms and Good Karma". So true.||I had a wonderful big room down stairs - lots of space for doing my yoga and a light beside the bed for reading.

We enjoyed our stay so much! The place is clean, tidy and not expensive. You can use the kitchen to make yourself tea or coffee. Our room was with a big cozy balcony. The owner is a kind guy, an interesting interlocutor. The beach is in 5 min walk :-)))

This guesthouse was a tranquil, clean, relaxing haven with our own balcony to shade from the heat. It was a very relaxing stay made special with the shrine space and presence of the host and staff. Lots of lovely guests to meet too. The guesthouse lives up to its motto - clean rooms, good Karma. Honestly it was hard to leave!

We got 3 rooms next to each other. Simple, but nice room at a good price for 2 weeks. We were happy and satisfied about our stay in Rose Garden and in Varkala as such. Rose garden is not situated in the middle of the tourist area and that we found nice.

Simple and good value rooms with decent balconies. It's about 1 minute walk to the beach and about 5, if that, up to the temple. This part of town is different to North Cliff because you don't have to trek up and down any steep steps to get to the beach - it's at sea level - and it's considerably less touristy - ie - it is not wall-to-wall with restaurants and souvenir shops with over-bearing attendants. It's close proximity to the temple and it's early-morning jingles and the road outside mean it gets busy outside in the morning tuk-tuks beeping etc but this isn't a problem for me.||Shyam who runs the place is a bit of a swami so if you ask the right questions he may impart some wisdom on to you!!

a Guesthouse located five minutes walk from beach. Near restaurants and the Hindu temple, 10 minutes walk from the busy tourist area. Clean rooms with fan, some with balconys. Pivate bathrooms. The staff is very helpful and it is a warm atmosphere in the guest house. worth the price.

The rose garden guest house was my favorite place to stay, great rooms very clean with so much love and care by the manager. If you enjoy staying in peaceful places close to the ocean with great atmosphere ...this is your spot,|Will be back there very soon.|
