NillWe recently stayed at InDa for 3 nights and it was really nice. The room was better than the pictures. The staff was really warm and helpful throughout our stay. It’s not a very fancy place, but it was really nice and clean. And aesthetically pleasing, both outdoors and indoors. Also their inhouse InDa cafe is one of the beats in Varkala. It’s also really close to North Cliff where most of the fun and happening places in Varkala are situated and close to Black beach. Overall, we would recommend InDa for a warm and pleasant stay. Also, we really loved their iced coffee

NillOur team at CloudOnHire had the pleasure of staying at iNda Hotel during our recent visit to Varkala, and it was an experience to remember. From the moment of booking to the final farewell, the entire process was handled with utmost professionalism and care by Ajee, who ensured every detail was thoughtfully managed. Ajee’s warm welcome, prompt communication, and attentive service throughout our stay made us feel truly valued. He was always available to assist, whether it was coordinating check-ins, arranging local guidance, or simply making sure we were comfortable. His dedication and hospitality were key to making our stay smooth and enjoyable. The hotel itself is nestled in a serene natural setting, surrounded by lush greenery that offers a peaceful retreat from the bustle of everyday life. The independent cottages provided a perfect blend of privacy and comfort, allowing our team to relax and recharge in a tranquil environment. We highly recommend iNda Hotel to anyone looking for a professionally managed, nature-immersed getaway in Varkala. Special thanks to Ajee and the entire team for making our stay so memorable! — CloudOnHire Team

★We had a very unpleasant experience with Hotel Inda, Varkala. We had called and booked a room for three people and even paid a 30% advance. Later, when one more friend decided to join us, we called the hotel the night before to ask if they could accommodate one extra person. The staff informed us that it wasn’t possible and that we would need to book another room. When we mentioned that taking another room would be beyond our budget, the staff member rather rudely remarked, “Then scoot, what else to do,” which we found extremely unprofessional and disrespectful.||Since it was clear they couldn’t accommodate us, we politely told them we’d like to cancel and find another place instead. They asked us to call back the next morning regarding the refund. However, when we did, the manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. He raised his voice, saying, “This is not a dormitory,” and refused to listen to anything we said. We even explained that we were only calling because their own staff had asked us to do so, but he continued to be impolite and dismissive.||What made things worse was that after we ended the call, he kept calling and messaging again, even though we had clearly said we didn’t want to engage any further. It was very uncomfortable and completely unnecessary.||Just a heads-up to anyone considering this place — the staff here can be very rude and ill-mannered, with no sense of professionalism or courtesy. Definitely not the kind of experience you’d expect when you’re just trying to plan a peaceful trip.

Nill- Good location. Close to North cliff. No sea view though - Pricey for the room. The room might have an occasional insect due to the surroundings but not unmanageable - Extremely accommodative and helpful staff

NillI dont like writing bad reviews but the waiters made me do this. I'm not sure what's worse: the pretty facade or the actively hostile service behind it. This place is all flash, zero substance. It was genuinely one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I've ever had. Here’s the shortlist of absurdities: • Broken Basics: I had a leaking handshower and couldn't even get shampoo out of the dispenser. Its okay, happens..not a big deal • The Water Fiasco: They wouldn't bring water to my room. I had to go to the cafe at night in my shorts in front of all the people in good clothes to the cafe just to fill my own water bottle at 10pm. • Rudeness at the Cafe: When I went to the cafe, the waiter wouldn't seat me and actually told me to take my food to my room. I was a guest staying there! The owner saw and asked the waiter to give a table and then only they gave us • No Power, No Work: The Wi-Fi was useless, and the constant power cuts …meant I couldn't get anything done anyway. • Alarm Clock: Construction: My morning started at 9AM with construction noise. Not exactly a relaxing wake-up call. It might be another property’s work but their work also started in the morning, pretty frustrating waking up to sound of construction When you are on a vacation Honestly, the staff acted like they were doing me a favor just by letting me be there. To the Owner: Your staff(waiters)is actively ruining your business. You have a serious service problem. I hope this hits your desk. After I checked out, I am told we have complimentary breakfast. Its a very nice place but please teach your staff how to serve the guests. I dont have any hatred but I was travelling with my mom and sister and they were complaining constantly about the lack of any service, this is the last thing I expected from Inda If you cant even give water, why am I paying you. You might say its written on the bottle but who reads that much. I had high expectations but its okay I guess. I really hoped it would be a good experience.

NillLoved the hotel! The cheesecake is an absolute must-try — I even went back a second time just for it! The wait staff are incredibly humble and friendly, which really made the experience special. While the prices might feel a bit on the higher side at night, the excellent service and lovely ambience more than make up for it.

NillStayed here for 3 nights with family of 2 kids. Experience was amazing and I highly recommend the hotel to all. There were some hiccups initially with room but the staff was very agile and proactive to solve everything. Room allocated to us was spacious and feel-good. Inda cafe itself had great vibes & food. Breakfast was awesome and fulfilling like by kids and adults alike. Location is great as well, given that you can walk up to the north cliff using a back gate they have. Auto stand nearby and many eateries are walkable from the hotel. All in all - loved the experience and we will stay again.
