OYO 48179 Hotel Shankar

Rooms are bit small, may look big in pictures but you will find same size room everywhere so it's fine! Owner (Bhagyesh) and stuff is very good, polite and helpful. I wouldn't have find better place which well maintained and closed to Mahakal temple. It was lovely stay!!! I stayed with my mom at this place and no issues at all.

Very well managed property. Even though the rooms are small it is very well maintained and you'll have a comfortable stay. Owner and the caretakers are very humble and are always at you service just a call away. Owner Bhagyesh Joshi will make sure that you have a comfortable and happy stay and also will help in other aspects also like - to roam in Ujjain, suggests good places etc. The property is located very close to the Mahakaleshwar temple, Harsiddi mata mandir, easily can walk and reach the temple in 2 mins. Food, milk, tes is also served at room itself. Tea was really refreshing and I can still remember the taste of it. Thank you Bhagyesh for making our stay a memorable and comfortable one.

Rooms are little small in size but well managed. Owner of the hotel Mr. Bhagyesh is supercool. He is very polite and has enthusiastic towards his culture. He will explain you everything, where to visit, where to have food, etc. Must try at least once. Keep it up.. will plan again. :-)

Had a great stay, staff is well trained/mannered and went out of way to provide us service on time. This is best location for a hotel if you are coming for Mahakal Darshan. 1 min walk from Mahakal temple. Food taste was too good. Rooms were cleaned and early checkin was given on special request. Bhagya who is owner of hotel is too humble. All the people I met in Ujjain were very kind.

Ok to stay... Nearby bridge...but less higenic not washed bedsheet..or pillow covers.

Wonderful place, great services, well cleaned up,well mannered staff, very much close to the Mahakaleshwar Temple ...... quite affordable too! Loved it. 💯🔥 Would like to appreciate the owner's humbleness and polite behaviour. 😊❤️ Best place to stay while visiting Ujjain. 💯👍🏻

Hotel rooms were very clean and neat. Staff was also very active. Hotels owner was very kind and polite and very helpful he was to guide us throughout our stay. One should surely visit.
