Good place but somsetimes seems costly Rooms are average Price must be down and agents should not be allowed

The most horrible experience ever , I have travelled all over the world and have never experienced the rudeness and incompetence of this hotel . After initially being checked in (using our UK driving licence ID ) we received a call requesting further passport ID which I had on my phone . I told them after a 10 hour train journey I was freshening up and would be down in a bit to provide the proof as requested.A few minutes later two "heavies" turned up demanding proof of Indian ID (which we didn't have as I am a UK citizen) and that we vacate the room immediately if we didn't have it, I tried to reason with them to no avail , also pointing out that the hotel was going to get a really bad review from me (they didn't really care) so we proceeded to go and see the manager but he too demanded and proof of Indian ID . After a bit of more trying to understand why we were being asked to vacate the manager said he had found us another hotel(he wasn't telling the truth ) that would check in NRI's and a room was booked for us - so we left . Upon arriving at the hotel it was fully booked , so we ended going around Ujjain in an auto to find a hotel . The was no duty of care or help to resolve our situation from the Hotel Satyug or even trying to explain that they didn't have a licence to accept NRI guests .I am a heart patient and my wife is diabetic not even an offer of a cup of tea or a drink was made. This not the India I know and love and not a true reflection of my travels and hotel stays in the country.I would have given 0 star rating if it was available .

Never book a room here. I wish there was an option of 0 rating, I could give. i couldn't sleep whole night due to power cut. There is no back up. I was watching a match and suddenly the power got cut. We couldn't watch the match too.There is one to even ask you a glass of water. Bathrooms are also very bad. They have telephones in room for service but that's just for you to see. it doesn't work. Never book a room here, I suggest

Very nice hotel, from outside it might look and ordinary hotel, but from inside A1 rooms with very affordable cost and very good room service and Cooperative staff, here this hotel also have restaurant with a great food. There is also a facility of having a very tasty breakfast with all local dishes with very good quality, the location of Hotel is at very close to Mahakal temple in a walking distance

If you are booking through Make my trip this hotel will be booked under enroute stays. Hotel is medium ranged and pretty clean according to price. Washrooms are well maintained. I would recommend it for short stays.

Nice Hotel. Yummy food. Fast Service. Most important! on walking Distance of Shree Mahakaal Mandir. Love to book again.

Wonderful hotels rooms with best facilities and room services. One should stay because you can get variety of food and etc inthere in house restaurant.

Staff of satyug is not well good I'm not talking about everyone very few I forgot the name of that person who talk to me very rudely and unprofessional
