1.We booked based on photo but were given different building, 2.Its like homestay but did not had even a single glass, when asked were said get from shop close by as person is out and may take 1 hour. It's a basic Amenities any one expects 3. Surrounding has monkeys, but the room had French window with out grill, so u can't keep open as money comes in and snatches snacks, happened with us in our room. Due to this window always needs the be closed, so no cool breeze for what we go on hill 4.Home food order they say take, after hour they say no order will be considered, get food from hotel Overall very very bad experience, owner should keep above in mind and improve service and not cheat people

We booked based on the view from the room but when we reached we were given room in opposite building on back side with no view and ventilation When we refused we were allocated little better room. Bed and washroom was clean but no glass .. windows had no grill so we couldn't keep window open. When we kept open for some time monkey came and stole food. What is the purpose of the window when there is no grill and there are monkeys everywhere. Food menu was provided and when we ordered we were told after 30 mins that the other forgot to place order. Then we requested to place order and were told it will take two hours. We went to market and we could get our food parcel in 10-12mins ..poor customer service. When there were no glasses we were told to get from the market :).

We stayed at Namrata Palace in Matheran on July 26, 2024. The owner and support staff were quite accommodating and responsive to requests. The room, considering the budget, was decent and suitable for families and couples. However, there were a few issues. We experienced frequent power cuts every 30 minutes until evening. The bathroom's tubelight was malfunctioning and could have been repaired beforehand, and the Wi-Fi connectivity was poor, which was somewhat frustrating. Nevertheless, these issues were addressed promptly after we reported them, and overall, the service was satisfactory. Despite these inconveniences, my partner and I enjoyed our stay. The owner and staff were excellent in terms of service and demeanor. I would highly recommend Namrata Palace to families and couples, particularly because of its proximity to the Matheran Market, which adds to the hotel's value.

The owner is very much cooperative. However there is a tip for solo travellers. Single boy or girl they do not give rooms. If you are travelling single, you have to make them call to your family members for verification that you have come here. This is because of a very bad experience they had earlier, so the entire association has decided this policy

This stay is located very close to matheran station. Mr kondiba kadam was a great guy and assisted us beautifully. Room has ac, wifi , geyser ,tv and room was decent. The only thing they need to maintain is clean bedsheets and water facilities.

For the price the place is decent. Rooms are very close to each other and so if you are someone who wants to party then you have to constantly make sure other’s don’t get disturbed. Owner is great and grants also every request, BUT the assistant on duty, to handle our room, was ignorant, arrogant and would say “no” to every request. You can expect cockroaches. The bedding and bathrooms were not clean. Overall, if the helper would’ve been nice maybe we’d have a better experience.

A very bad experience. They provided very dirty bedsheets. They dont even have water filter. When asked for drinking water they provided direct tap water. Bedsheets were so dirty that we had to purchase new ones for entire family. Forget about food quality. The person dont even remembers what we had ordered! It was like a nightmare staying here. We left earlier than planned looking at the dirtyness of the place. Strictly NO for families!

Room are very neat and clean.... hospitality is really good and people are helpful
