Very tasty 🤤 food & very nice service Ovi Cottage is a hidden gem in Matheran. Clean rooms, great hospitality, and such a serene location. It’s ideal if you’re looking for something quiet but still within walking distance of major attractions. They arranged everything we needed, and even the small things were taken care of. Great value for money too! Sushant the owner and the family is amazing and very loved their homely food just took my heart ❤️

Had a wonderful weekend stay at this hotel in Matheran! The highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking view of the valley—absolutely mesmerizing. The rooms were comfortable, and the overall ambiance was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The food was excellent, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options being delicious. The quality and taste exceeded expectations. The owner was polite and accommodating, making our stay even better. For ₹1800 per person, the experience was totally worth it. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic stay in Matheran!

From the moment we arrived, it felt like we weren’t just guests, but part of their extended family. The warm welcome and hospitality made us feel like we were staying at a relative's house rather than a commercial cottage. First and foremost, the food deserves a solid 10 out of 10. Whether you're a vegetarian or a non-vegetarian, the meals are absolutely delicious. We tried both mutton and chicken dishes, and each bite was flavorful and home-style cooked with love. It's rare to find such authentic taste even in big restaurants. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained. Cleanliness is clearly a priority for them, and every corner of the cottage reflected that. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were hygienic, and everything was organized perfectly. It made our stay super relaxing. The location is also one of the best in Matheran. It’s peaceful, surrounded by nature, and very close to some of the must-visit sightseeing spots in Matheran. After a long day of exploring, returning to Ovi Cottages felt like coming back home. The hosts were extremely polite and caring. They don’t treat you like customers – they treat you like their own. Sushant, in particular, is a gem of a person. Always ready to help, smiling, and making sure you're comfortable throughout your stay. His entire family is equally humble and kind-hearted. If you're planning a trip to Matheran, I highly recommend staying at Ovi Cottages. It’s not just a place to stay – it’s an experience that you’ll remember for a long time. We had an amazing stay at Ovi Cottage. The vibe is so warm and welcoming. The owner (Sushant )and caretakers were always helpful and made sure we were comfortable. The room was spacious, and the surroundings were green and peaceful. A perfect place to relax, read a book, and breathe fresh air. Definitely coming back!

Our stay at Ovi Cottage was truly memorable! The natural surroundings were breathtaking, and the food was absolutely delicious. What made the experience even better was the outstanding service, every request was met with a smile. A special mention to the owner, Sushant, who was super friendly, always ready to help, and guided us whenever needed. The rooms were spotless, and every facility was well-maintained to perfection. While the location is slightly away from the main market, it’s just a quick 7–10 minute walk. But honestly, with such an amazing view, it’s totally worth it!
