Abode Bombay

What a wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Colaba, Mumbai. The breakfasts were delicious and the hospitality perfect. The decor is a mix of thoughtfully appointed antiques, local photography, and Indian textiles. I am especially grateful for Nilesh and all his hard work organizing my group stay as well as my local tours and reservations. The special touches of little notes and sweetly scented flowers on our bed each night was a lovely added touch. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Mumbai.

What a lovely little boutique hotel this is. Decorated in a charming style of classic old Bombay. A really welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. I arrived early and their reception area is a cosy little haven where you can feel comfortable unwinding for a couple. The breakfast was delicous and showed great pride in the local cuisine. And the coffee was the best I had in India. If you are in south Mumbai and in need of a good espresso and an oasis during the day it is great to visit.

We absolutely loved Adobe. The location is right in the heart of Mumbai, just steps from the Gate of India and the Taj. Piles of great restaurants just outside the door and a nice stroll to many of the tourist sites. The team working at the hotel were all very helpful and made sure we had everything covered. Breakfast was tasty each morning - fresh fruit, Indian dishes, yogurt and eggs to order. They use reverse osmosis for the drinking water, so no need to buy bottled water since there was always a full pitcher in our room. The rooms are very cute with local art and good window coverings. The bed is comfy and there is tons of hot water in the shower. If this one is in your budget, book it. You won't regret it!

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Adobe in Colaba for two nights, and we had an excellent experience. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Colaba, making it easy to explore nearby attractions and enjoy the local atmosphere. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, especially Nilesh and Sadhana, who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Their warm hospitality really stood out and made us feel welcome. The coffee shop at the hotel is also very good – a great place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. Overall, the supportive staff, convenient location, and pleasant ambiance made our stay truly enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Colaba!

Just came back from a great stay at Abode. My wife and I stayed there for 4 nights and had a great time. The hotel is in a great location for the South Mumbai / North Colaba area. The hotel itself was a boutique style with extremely friendly staff which made it feel like you were staying at a friends house. We stayed on the fourth floor and so had a great chill out space outside our rooms. The only possible criticism was the slightly limited breakfast options (although what they had was delicious). Would certainly recommend and happily stay there again. Thanks Team Abode.

I loved my stay here - me and my partner stayed in a simple room and we absolutely loved it. Nilesh and his team made it a total joy to stay, and Abode felt like a real oasis of calm amongst Mumbai’s beautiful chaos. We particularly enjoyed the early morning and street food tour, the complimentary meditation and sound therapy, and the diverse and varied breakfast. Highly recommend this stay, as an intimate and boutique stay that doesn’t break the bank!

A lovely quirky boutique hotel right in the middle of the main attractions and tourist area. The staff were very friendly and helpful with perfect English. Breakfast was mix of local and western and the big plus was a very good coffee bar in the lounge with excellent coffee. Our room was comfortable Abbie the bed was very close to the wall so a challenge for anyone with limited mobility.

Abode Mumbai is such a charming boutique stay in the heart of the city. The location couldn’t be better—right in Colaba, which makes it perfect for exploring the area on foot and soaking in the local atmosphere. You step outside and you’re surrounded by cafes, shops, and some of Mumbai’s most iconic sights, which makes it incredibly convenient. The morning buffet breakfast was honestly one of my favorite parts of the stay—fresh, varied, and beautifully presented. It felt thoughtful and nourishing, not just a standard hotel spread. Having that to start each day made such a difference. The staff were also warm and welcoming, adding to the sense that this place really values its guests. Abode blends location, comfort, and atmosphere perfectly. It’s the kind of place you remember fondly because of the little touches, and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Mumbai.
