OYO 28807 K Bhagat Tarachand

I checked into a hotel where no regular rooms were available, but I was offered a backyard room as my only option. Reluctantly, I agreed to take it and was charged ₹1500 for the stay. However, as soon as I entered the room, I noticed a foul smell. There was no TV, and the restrooms were located outside the room, which were filthy and unhygienic. I immediately brought this to the attention of the reception staff, but they dismissed my concerns, saying the smell would go away soon. Left with no choice, I ignored the issues, re-entered the room, and placed my luggage there. Later, I discovered that a gutter channel ran through the room, connected to the kitchen directly behind it. Despite this shocking discovery, I was exhausted and decided to rest. Unfortunately, loud bass music started playing out of nowhere, disrupting my attempt to sleep. Upon stepping outside to investigate, I found that a function was being held right outside the hotel. The noise was unbearable, and my sole purpose of booking a room—to rest—was completely defeated. The loud music gave me a headache, and after spending 1-2 frustrating hours in the room, I decided to step out to the market, hoping the noise would subside by the time I returned. To my disappointment, the situation remained the same even after 4-5 hours. The music persisted, and the room was uninhabitable. Left with no other option, I checked out that night. My time, energy, and money were completely wasted. To make matters worse, the hotel staff refused to address my concerns, apologize, or offer a refund. Instead, they argued with me when I requested a partial refund, leaving me deeply dissatisfied and disappointed. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I sincerely hope no one else has to endure such a situation. I urge the @Bhagattarachand franchise to address this issue and improve the quality of their accommodations, staff behavior, and overall value for money. I really respect the

Value for money place for Long Term stays..Neat and clean well maintained rooms with bigger configurations available for families. It's one of the safe places to stay in the city with no hanky panky activities which are commonly seen in other Mumbai hotels.

I spent nearly 6 months here when studying at TISS, and I must say, the staff and owner's warmth behaviour truly touched my heart. Their kindness and hospitality are unparalleled; I've never experienced such genuine care elsewhere. My time here holds some of the most joyful memories, thanks to them. They are also open hearted for LGBTQ community.

Had a perfect stay at Chembur, came here for for medical purpose. Sushrut hospital is walking distance from this place. The owner and staff were truly helpful for providing extra time since we had a late evening train and had to check out in the afternoon. Hotel is clean and service is great, restaurant is very close for meals. Recommended

Nice place for small functions. My friends engagement was there. Hall is for atleast 100 people. It is actually a hotel and they have hall on ground floor. You can have small get-together here. Hotel rooms are also clean and they have good room services.

✨ Bhagat Tarachand has been a popular brand since ages. I have been munching so much from this restaurant since my childhood. It has set the benchmark for other restaurants. I have to think twice before giving them any stars less than 5. They deserve much more than these ratings. This place has been a regular lunch site for many families. If you are going with your family, without thinking a bit straight away head to Bhagat Tarachand outlets. ||🌸 The cuisine they provide is so impressive. They have started with chinese lately but their traditional food which is North Indian, Rajasthani, Gujarati and many more are just unbelievable. It gives the taste of homemade recipes. The style of providing butter with chhapati initiated with this restaurant. Butter Chhapati is itself enough to make your tummy get full. ||🥘 The presentation is simple and kind of authentic with a traditional hint. Khichya Churi, Papad Churi, not all restaurants serve this in their usual form. Bhagat Tarachand stays traditional and never comprises with the taste. ||🔻 Following are the things we tried :||1️⃣ Freshlime Soda ||Something to start with. A refreshing start with hint of Lime in it. ||2️⃣ Khicha Churi - Highly Recommended ||Classic and very pure stuff. Crisp khicha added with lots of ghee, masala, caramelized onion and topped with Coriander. ||3️⃣ Masala Khicha - Highly Recommended ||Mixed with lots of veggies and topped with Coriander. ||4️⃣ Paneer Lasooni Tikka Dry ||The migrated paneer filled with curd and green chutney along with tomato and cabbage. ||5️⃣ Butter Chhapati - Highly recommended ||Real soft, smooth and delicious chhalati filled with lots of butter. ||6️⃣ Special KBT Paneer Chatpata ||Red gravy with chopped pieces of paneer with spicy essence and topped with coriander. ||7️⃣ Dal Tadka ||Simple plain dal with the tadka on it. Excellent service, we booked the entire premises for 3 days and our guests had a amazing experience of stay and service. They allowed us to get our own catering contractor thereby making it a memorable experience
