it is a decent budget hotel with basic facilities and helpful staff. if you fancy pampering experience, this is not the place for you. it is decent for families who are there to roam in and around Mahabaleshwar and Panchgani and stay centrally at a budget place Positives location is close to market and other facilities, staff is helpful, food is decent and hygienic, rooms are big and spacious, has some entertainment means for children like a garden, sports and television sets Negatives No non veg food, furniture is somewhat old and cranky, no phones in room (they have a bell but it gives hospital like feel), the door locks are not great, needs some serious renovation to color and furniture (this is my personal opinion).

Small hotel that feels still stuck in the old days. You sign in on a big register and go to your room via stairs. The room had two single beds joined up and a seperate single bed as well. The flooring is the old small tiles with spots in them as design. The furniture is old as well. BUT - everything is very clean and tidy. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel does not provide complimentary breakfast but you can order some basic items in advance. In any case there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Some rooms face a wooded area at the back where you will easily spot monkeys (see my pics), squirrels, parrots and other birds. The hotel has parking for around 6 cars and because it's so close to Panchgani market it's a great hotel for those on public transport. All in all basic hotel but a good choice for those on a budget or looking for a decent place near Panchgani market.

I went on to stay at Hotel Gitanjali with family on a long weekend, covered Panchgani and Mahableshwar in this trip. Hotel is very good in terms of location. It is located centrally near the main market. So there is not much difficulty in locating this hotel. We went in mid-August, so it was rainy season. Weather was cool and a jacket/light sweater was required, umbrellas are a must have this time of the year.||||We had deluxe non-ac rooms for us. Rooms are very spacious and a group of 4 can easily fit in. Balcony side of the room is very good and is an ideal place to have morning and evening tea with some snacks. Food is quite expensive at the hotel. So its better to go out in the nearby market for having food. We ate at Friends restaurant and found it good for lunch and dinner. Parking space is ample, so no worries to park your car.

Rooms are poor in ambience and feel. We were welcomed with dirty and unhygienic bedsheets, blankets and curtains. That irritating smell of damp pillows, bedsheets and blankets was persistent. I developed severe allergy - running nose, watery eyes and cough. The only two good points about the hotel are: 1. This Hotel is easy to find via Google Maps as well as signboards and is located near the market area. 2. Washrooms are good.

Heard about this hotel from a friend who wanted to admit his kids in a boarding school. Loved the school and the hotel too, though it is a pure veg. But there are restaurants outside if you wish to eat Non-Veg.||After i admitted my kids in that school, would visit them once a month every time was down on vacations and would always stay in this hotel. Since the children have passed out have not visited the place in a long time.||The staff is extremely polite and helpful. No disturbance of any kind. They have AC rooms too.||Has free parking (at owners risk) and quite safe.||Rooms are very spacious. A family of 4 can easily be accommodated in 1 room.||If whenever I visit Panchgani, would love to stay there again.||||The last time I travelled there was in the 1st week of April 2015. And as the travel dates do not have the option for the year 2015 am selecting April 2016.

This is very good budget hotel in main market of Panchgani. We were visited this hotel first time in 2009. We stayed on the first floor and it was quiet good that time. This time while returning from Karde beach, we again stayed in this hotel for one night on the ground floor almost after 6 years. But now interior looks very old, TVs are old fashioned CRT when all other hotels are having LED or LCD TVs. It seriously needs upgradation. Owner was very friendly and he himself suggested us to book online to get the best discount.||||It's main advantage, it is located in the main market of Panchgani, near Bank Of Maharashtra||||Parking is ample and there is beautiful small garden also...

This four decades old hotel stands very near to panchgani market and shopping complex. It's a budget hotel with basic furnishings. No kitchen service, no wifi. Car parking available. Best thing is every room comes with a balcony. Good for budget travelers.

Fantastic place, though not very easy to recognise from main road. The rooms are well maintained, neat and clean. Small garden for children to play besides. Parking space for around 8 small cars. Hotel has its own dinning hall but the food has to be pre ordered. No bar inside, near by. The hotel accepts only cash is a small draw back. Book from MMT to get good deal but be sure to confirm the booking as the hotel tends to allocate rooms in heavy rush season inspite of booking. Room selection not available on MMT so its your luck to get good view room. Overall nice place to visit for a weekend.
