Mango Hotels–Prangan, Bhubaneswar

We are compelled to express our extreme dissatisfaction with the appalling service we received during our stay at this hotel, specifically room 105, booked on December 31st. Upon check-in, the receptionist's negligence was evident, as we were not provided with essential information regarding our prepaid dinner and breakfast package. Instead, we were given vague instructions regarding meal times. The hotel's management demonstrated a shocking lack of accountability and transparency. The manager failed to honor his commitment to follow up with us, and the staff subsequently presented us with a bill for dinner, despite our prepaid package. The hotel's staff displayed a blatant disregard for the truth, intentionally withholding crucial information and providing false explanations for their actions. Their evasiveness and dishonesty were further exemplified by the receptionist's refusal to provide his name or those of his colleagues. Our experience at this hotel was unacceptable, and we condemn the management's failure to provide even a basic level of service and integrity.

The staff is extremely rude. We had to wait for 3 hours for check in despite putting a prior notice for early check in and accepted by the property. They say “Our rules are our rules, we do not know any booking.com and their rules and requests ”. The staff could clearly see our pain waiting to check in as we had travelled for 7 hours by car to reach the property but shown no empathy. The rooms are below average and relatively expensive if you compare the price. They behave pricy but have absolutely illiterate staff. It was a nightmare for the entire stay. Suggest to avoid this property and look for properties nearby which has much lesser price and good amenities.

This hotel was such a surprise... Clean, fresh rooms, all modern amenities, good breakfast, really extensive n yummy food, good location n very courteous staff. Will definitely recommend.

It was really a pathetic experience. One of my relative booked a room and they were allotted room no. 105 for 31/12/24. Package included breakfast as well as dinner but they didn’t gave them prior intimation that they have to order the food in room, as a layman they went to Dinner Hall and they had dinner then some staff member came and gave them the bill which was not so obvious as the same room booked inclusive of breakfast and dinner. They without creating any ruckus and asked them normally why they have to pay the bill when the room was booked including all this. Then at around 11 Pm one of the staff member called and asked what would you like to have? I think hotel staff is out of senses who will have dinner at 11 Pm. Kindly reimburse back to them you have all the details of my relatives and they have given you the details before checkin. Prompt reply will be helpful or else i would be having no other option but to send a legal notice to mango hotel prangan bhubneshwar

Rooms are spacious with very good variety of food. The bar is costly but good ambience. It is in busy area of Bhubaneshwar, so the noise can come till late night (11 pm). The benefit is getting taxi, auto easily.

First thing it’s near to railway station, if too much luggage then prefer auto, they charge 100. It was nice accommodation, rooms are clean and neat. Size of room Is okay and can stay for a day. Checkin and check out experience is very good. We had breakfast and it tastes good. Buffet is somewhat costly 550 rupees per head, we went with Alacarte. Overall experience is good and I recommend Mango hotel Bhuwaneswar.

One of the worst hotel for this price range. The reception staff is illiterate and bad cultured. They do not know what hospitality is. They literally argued like a nonsense over extra room charges. They will charge from you extra without even informing you and then curse you. The management needs to fire the staffs at the reception if they want this hotel to be recognised as a good hotel.
