OYO Hotel Shree Balajee 1

Location is quite amazing. Market and beach both are nearby Temple is 3km away. Room is so smelly, I took two room with four double beds. Which costs me 4500₹ a day.

The hotel was very economical and most of the service was very good. However, even after repeated requests to give a first floor room to my parents (who have knee problems), they still allotted a room on the second floor. The attached restaurant has very less range of food available but whatever they served were good and their service was also great. Stay was overall okay but lots of room for improvement.

First of all this is not a hotel. It is a cheap lodge. While booking this place from booking.com I saw the room images which looked decent. But please be aware that the rooms are nowhere similar to what is shown. The rooms & bathroom has zero maintenance. Forget the rooms, even the surroundings are more like a 3rd class cheap lodge where you get rooms for 500Rs. This was about the place. Now coming to their service. The reception guy was super rude. When we complained him that the place is dirty , he said "If you don't want to stay please leave". He then came to our room with 2 bottles of water which was filled with normal water and he said this is what is served as per the policy. After arguing a lot, he finally gave a packed mineral water. At night around 3 am the AC stopped working and all the lights were dim. We called the reception guy again and he was like electrician wont come at this time so we need to wait for another 4 hours to get all these fixed. We then contacted booking.com customer care which was also as pathetic as the reception guy. But again after arguing for 30 mins, when I said that I will be putting poor reviews, the reception guy called the electrician. Now during our breakfast time we were told that the breakfast is not included in our booking, although I showed it in the booking.com app that clearly says breakfast is booked for all 4 rooms. We then again called the customer care and customer care said that the call landed to OYO customer care and please call booking.com customer care. Remember this is the same customer care number which responded to our earlier issue with the electricity but now denied interfering with breakfast issue. So we finally gave up and had our breakfast outside. Overall I would say that please refrain from this hotel if you don't want to spoil your trip. We had the worst experience of our life.

Worst place. The staff here asks for more money. The rooms are very dirty. No proper ventilation in room. TV was there in the picture shared by the hotel but in actual there is no tv. No proper water service. The worst decision of my life to stay in this hotel. They will cancel your booking if you don't pay them extra.

Staff like Prasanto & Babu Vai were good but people like Partho & Guddu were not helpful at all. During the last day of check out (Oct 8th), we got no help in moving our luggage out of the hotel. Out of 3 rooms, only one room had good hot water & other t wo rooms were bad in terms of hot water from geyser TV wasn't functioning at all Oyo room portion & General hotel - needs to work on improving their services.

This hotel is a nightmare, the bathrooms have no water, and upon complaining about it to the staff, they asked us to wait for 5 mins, while waiting we saw others also struggling for the water. People were out in the corridor yet the management remained cool and irresponsive.
