The Landmark Amritsar : Near Golden Temple

This is an absolute scam of a property. Not sure why they enjoy 4 star rating. Untidy linens, stinking rooms, unhygienic washrooms, this is probably the norm. There was no hot water at all in the rooms and the staff kept on making excuses and the eventual solution was that they'll provide buckets of hot water the next morning, like it was a dharamshala. Horrible hospitality, bad food. The staff doesn't even know how to greet. The boys giving you attitude of you ask them a water bottle. Guys, don't bother even considering this place to explore the holy city.

Rooms are neat and tidy. Staffs are cooperative and has good hospitality. In addition, they will arrange a car for you, to the places you wish to see. Approx 2000/- you might to pay. As for the rooms are so costly and has no complementary breakfast. I mean, which hotel doesn't have free breakfast after paying Rs 5000 above. We have to pay extra money to eat breakfast from the hotel.

The location of hotel is quite good, one can easily walk to golden temple. Also one can easily go to nearby shopping centers. The deluxe room is quite spacious and sufficient for 2 people accommodation. The food was also up to the mark. However the hotel can improvises on services, when we checked in there were no towels, no bathroom door mat, no bucket in bathroom, also the TV subscription was not done . Although these were fixed after calling room service multiple times however it should have been better provided the price we paid. Also no soap given on 2nd day, It's a bit expensive accommodation in the nearby locality.

Had the most disappointing experience at The Landmark, Amritsar. Starting from the lobby ambience, it’s great no doubt at all. Coming onto rooms they were disgusting. Two rooms were allotted, and both the bathrooms had stains all over the toilet seats, and stained glass one of the bathrooms had undergarments lying there. Then we were allotted another room though those two also had stained bathrooms and stained bedsheets. On contacting housekeeping to clean the rooms it was just as it was, only new towels were kept and no change of linens that too by mistake our towels were taken too though received them by contacting so many times after laundry. Wouldn’t recommend the hotel at all. The housekeeping needs to be trained well.

It’s located just a 5-minute walk from the Golden Temple. The staff is highly professional, offering excellent hospitality and prompt service. The food quality is impressive, with plenty of breakfast options. The rooms are reasonably spacious, though the ventilation in the washrooms could be improved.

We visited hotel 2 days back and were there for 2 nights. Firstly, we checked in late night around 1130 pm and one would rooms to be in good condition with all required things. However, we faced some issues such as speed of ceiling fan in one room was very slow and on complaining the staff told that its like this only (which was surprising as other room fan was working in good speed). Then there were no water bottles kept in one room, only single cup in one room, the linens were not clean, extra pillows kept in cupboard were filled with awful stains, the towels we asked from housekeeping were again not clean and it was so bad that replacement towels were also similar and staff said we have only such towels. Second day, we complained about the fan we were not able to cope with slow fan and surprisingly the new shift team said they will fix it and actually it was, which the previous night staff said its not fixable. Later we asked to clean the rooms and when we came back the used towels were not taken away neither new towels were kept. So, in nutshell their maintenance and upkeep of rooms is not good and needs significant improvement. Considering the price we paid, it’s easy to go for good 4/5 star property in similar vicinity by paying extra 1-2k.

Not too far and not too near to the golden temple. Strategically located - you can reach hotel with your car/cab. Rooms are good and staff are attentive. Room heater was our saviour as it was too chilling weather when we visited. Washroom door and tap needs to be serviced and fixed, they were fragile. Kettle was also fragile although working fine.

The hotel is conveniently located very close to the Golden Temple. The breakfast buffet was decent, the rooms were clean, and the staff was respectful and courteous. There was a slight hassle in getting the initial amenities, and it felt slightly overpriced, but overall, it was a pleasant stay.
