Here's why I would strongly advise against booking a room here: * Misleading Images: The pictures on booking portals like Agoda, Booking.com, and MMT paint a completely different picture than reality. The rooms are much smaller and lack the amenities shown in the photos. It feels like false advertising. * Unhygienic Conditions: The room I stayed in was far from tidy. There was visible dust and grime, and the worst part was the presence of mold on the walls. This raised serious concerns about the overall hygiene of the hotel. * Suffocating Rooms: The ventilation in the room was extremely poor. The lack of fresh air made it feel cramped and uncomfortable. This is a major issue, especially for longer stays. * Service Delays: Even basic requests took an unreasonable amount of time to be fulfilled. From getting towels to ordering room service, everything felt like a chore due to the slow response times. * Overall Poor Service: The service at this hotel was simply abysmal. The staff members lacked attentiveness and seemed disinterested in addressing guest concerns. In short, my stay at the FabHotel Sonachi Grand was a frustrating and unpleasant experience. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel and finding alternative accommodation in Amritsar. There are many other options available that offer a better value for your money and a much more comfortable stay. NillBang average hotel. Dirty walls, broken locks, no provision of towels and/or toiletries. Worst of all - Careless staff. PLEASE Avoid staying in the ground floor rooms at all costs as the loud mouth folks at the reception chatter incessantly with no respect to the comfort of the people staying in their hotel. Despite our requests to keep their volumes down at 8 PM in the night, they were barely bothered. Located at a walking distance of 750m from the Golden Temple at the Ghee Chowk roundabout. Room Quality: 1/5 Staff: 0/5 Location: 3/5 Overall 1/5. Choose carefully.

NillExtremely Disappointed Stay at FabHotel Sonachi Grand, Amritsar My recent stay at the FabHotel Sonachi Grand in Amritsar was unfortunately underwhelming and fell far short of my expectations. While I booked under the name " FabHotel Sonachi Grand " the actual hotel name is “Dua Grand”, which initially caused confusion and difficulty locating the property. 1. Check-in Delays: Upon arriving early, I was informed that the room wouldn't be ready for 30 minutes, despite pre-booking and confirming an early check-in possibility. This delay significantly impacted my itinerary. 2. Discrepancies between Online Information and Reality: The hotel's condition was significantly different from the online photos. Several issues included: Limited ventilation: No windows could be opened for fresh air. Deteriorating interior: Peeling walls and a broken bathroom door with an unlatching lock compromised hygiene and privacy. Unsanitary bedding: Improperly fitted covers revealed dirty blankets underneath. 3. Inadequate Breakfast Service: Limited options: The breakfast consisted solely of lukewarm paratha, butter toast, and tea/coffee. This lacked variety and quality. Unacceptably long wait times: Breakfast delivery took 1.5 hours despite repeated requests, further impacting my schedule. Unfulfilled requests: My request to pack breakfast for a late checkout was ignored by the reception staff. 4. Repeated Door Malfunctions: Locking difficulties: The room door required excessive force to open and close, and I wasn't informed about this beforehand. This resulted in multiple delays, including: Missed sightseeing opportunity: Being trapped in the room for 40 minutes due to a malfunction caused me to miss a seat and clear view of the Wagah border ceremony on January 26th. Golden Temple visit delay: A similar door issue and unresponsive landline delayed our early morning departure to the Golden Temple by 20 minutes. Recurring problem: This happened at least six times during our stay, causing significant frustration and wasted time. 5. Lack of Essential Amenities: Missing kettle: Despite other rooms having kettles for hot water, ours was absent, leaving us without a convenient way to warm water during the cold weather. Overall Experience: My stay at the FabHotel Sonachi Grand (Dua Grand) was deeply disappointing and stressful. It was the worst hotel experience I've ever encountered, marred by constant inconveniences, inadequate facilities, and unreliable service. I strongly advise potential guests to consider alternative options to avoid a similar unpleasant stay.

NillThe worst experience I’ve ever had. This fabhotel was pathetic. I was there for some work and spending just 1 night here was such a pain. When i arrived here, the receptionist said they’re full but she’ll still give me a triple room for the sake of it as if she’s doing a favour. The room was dirty. I asked for a change and she started arguing ‘main apko koi ghatiya room nahi de rhi’ When i agreed after a long because i was getting late, the intercom, tv was not working. The bathroom door was broken, there were no toilet rolls. My circumstances that i had to stay there for the sake of one night. When i got back at night and was sleeping, there was a mouse on my bed. Instead of resolving the problem, the staff asked me to sleep with the lights on. When I complained to FABHOTEL customer service, they said that the property manager is denying and asking for a picture of the rat. I kept asking for a water bottle but did not get any. Cheap and pathetic service. Would never recommend.

NillNice Stay. Hotel location is in middle.. Near by Bus stand and Golden Temple. Which is great. Nice Staff. But only Disappointed there Breakfast. Hotel allow online orders swiggy zomato which is good thing. Overall experience is awesome.
