The most disgusting place i have ever stayed in,there was visible dirt on the floor , the bedsheets and comforters had stains on them. The dresser full of dust , there is no closet. MOLD ALL OVER THE BATHROOM! Used towels left in the bathroom probably from previous guests. When i entered the toilet had 💩 splashed on it . They dont care to address your concerns. Also constantly smells of cigarettes

My recent 2-day stay at Hotel J.D Grand ( Next to Gurmehar Residence= Same owner both both )was extremely disappointing. Here's a summary of the issues I encountered: 1. **No TV Connection:** The TV in my room was non-functional throughout my stay. 2. **No Gas Geyser:** There was no gas geyser, making it impossible to have a hot shower. 3. **No Water Supply:** The water supply was unreliable, creating significant inconvenience. 4. **AC Issues:** The AC connection was deliberately turned off by the manager every morning for reasons unknown to me. 5. **Lack of Basic Amenities:** There were no blankets, and the telephone in the room was dead, rendering it impossible to contact hotel services. 6. **Poor Cleanliness:** The overall cleanliness of the hotel was subpar. The funniest yet most frustrating aspect was the attitude of the staff. Normally, one would expect to address complaints with the receptionist or manager. However, the manager admitted that he hadn't received his salary and thus refused to address any issues. Even if you wanted to complain, he would direct you to contact the owner directly. Additionally, the hotel seems to rely on taxi drivers who scam customers by bringing them to the hotel under false pretenses. Once you book the room, the driver leaves quickly after receiving their commission. This was the worst service I have ever experienced. I strongly urge everyone to avoid this scam of a hotel. The staff, including the owner's son, showed a complete lack of respect and professionalism. His immature behavior and lack of respect for senior guests were appalling, regardless of his branded clothes. A piece of advice for him: maturity and professionalism are not measured by your attire but by your behavior and respect for others. **Rating: 1/5** Avoid Hotel Gurmehar & J.D Grand at all costs.

We stayed at the property for a night while we visited Golden Temple. The room was good in size. However, the cleanliness was pathetic. The linens on the bed were not clean. Also, when we asked for an extra linen, we got the used ones with all sort of stains on it. Room service was good. If you want cleanliness, please dont go for it. Thank you.

We choose 4 bed room (do not select rooms on bases of images) Before payment staff was nice, after payment reception guy wasn't listening. Hygiene is ok, No one came for room Cleaning ,we found rat on second day. Bathroom - geyser wasn't working, literally, they sad call karna buckets dene aayege after booking, before booking, hot water aata h, geyser h sir. Check by yoursef geyser,tapes, everything. Room service is not there, they don't provide basic services like electric kettle, towels, soap and also they control ac power from reception. Location is great, near to jalianwalaa bhag, walkable from golden temple, We have saw hotel stuff in Amritsar says fake things, so please check before payment and also do not pay advance, if they don't allow thn pay for 1 day and carry this for coming days..

Worst hotel experience ever. First of all they didn't have a room available for us but didn't disclose the same. Then they made us wait almost an hour before the couple staying in our designated room were to leave. They didn't even bother to clean the room, bathroom or change the bedsheet and pillow covers before handing us over the keys. The room was so dirty and the bathroom was next level stinky and unhygienic. We stayed for 1 night and came with family. Worst experience ever. Waste of money. Worst service faced so far.

Visited with family and driver dropped us in the mid-night. Bargained for one night and they helped us with luggage as there is no lift into the room. The a/c remote is not working in the room and neither geyser in the bathroom as well. Surprisingly the a/c was off after some time and i had called the reception and no one was available at reception. After few hrs again in the early morning i had called they provided me with heater rod for bathroom but for a/c he went and switched on from outside remote which is with him. Its really disappointing we had to suffer and they are playing with the customers. He gave a big smile when asked the same - How come the a/c remote is working that is with him. Never the less... its nor recommendable specially with family. Guess there will be tie-up with drivers and some commission !

Terrible experience, the hotel wasnt maintained at all. Constant stinking smell of toilets. The staff including the owners just pathetic; if you tell them a problem with the room they will react as if it is normal and will not attend to it. Very bad experience. Do not stay here if you want to make your trip memorable.
