Hotel Dev Palace

I had a really nice stay here. I only stayed one night but the rooms were really clean and the staff very attentive. Also they helped me get to the hotel from the train station 2 hours away when i found out that my train to ajmer would be 5 hours late. After I called them to ask for help they had a taxi pick me up in jaipur (2 hrs away) within 15 minutes and 1000 rupees less then the pre-paid taxi stand was quoting me.

The place is located more towards the south of the railway station but at walkable distance. All other tourist places are towards the north. Walkable to the dargah. Its in the old City part so not easily visible. They don't have kitchen but can arrange food on request. The rooms were not very clean and had small flying cockroaches everywhere along with black ants. Hot water is just warm. Wouldn't stay again even for the cheap rent.

Hey I m G S Sharma i m stay at hotel dev palace in January last week 27 Jan, i see hotel is good with good staff and clean littlebit odd location. i was visited dargah and shock after i feel and my pocket was cut by any of theft, i explain all things to hotel staff and then they help me for this go to local police station with me arrange a free night for me because of my passport and document missing, they understand my every feelings so i recommended to all tourist that go to only hotel dev palace if go ajmer.

Worst hotel i ever stayed at, and I have been traveling a lot. We booked the hotel for one night, by calling them, there we asked if it was okay that we came early in the morning as our bus would arrive there, and if the room was empty. They sad it was no problem at all, then when we arrived had got a couple hours of sleep and got up they suddenly wanted to charge extra money from us, to be precise 900 rupees for staying in the morning or else they would kick us out, 900 for one room, for 6 hours...when we argued with the owner he became very rude, and then started saying he also had give free WiFi without charge...Come On free WiFi, I have never been to a hotel that have WiFi and then charge extra for its customers to use it, I'm guessing it was just another way to try and get money out of us.. And the hot water they say they have is not really working, or maybe if you wait an hour or two for it. But our patience ran out and we checked out..And if you order a cup of coffee they get it from a guy in the street and charge you 50 rupees for a small glass..... to sum it up, worst scamming hotel i have ever stayed at. Would not recommend it for anyone. PS the other reviews of the hotel look very fake or arranged, just FYI.

Changed name of hotel so come with full assurance. Staff is very much rude and misbehaving. After prior booking staff denied to give the room. After that 2 hours wait finally got the room but room service and facilities are worst. No one have to choose evee this hotel

This hotel don't even deserve 1 star but still I have to give. I would highly recommend people not to book hotels here. Recently I had traveled ajmer for darshan and was very disappointed with the people of auto mans and hotel dev palace as well. As I was having my hotel booked still the auto driver will take you the place where they are having tie-ups. All of the auto drivers are having tie-ups with the hotels they charged me 2000 RS for one night stay which was not even worth giving a 1000 RS approx that hotel was for 800 and they charged 2000 from me and in which he gave 100 RS as a commission to auto driver so please guys be safe they all are fraud. Kindly online book your hotels and travel with ola cabs.

Located at 800m walkable distance from main Dargah. Hotel is unhygienic and they have no kitchen facility. They didn't provide extra blanket. Room service is poor.
