Specious clean room with kettle and tea making facilities. Specious bathroom with good shower and hot water. WiFi, air con and TV in room. Nice furniture and well arranged seating with good storage. Courteous and attentive staff made our stay very welcome. Good fresh cooked food in the restaurant.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Sunbird in Bharatpur, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming, making check-in a breeze. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with clean and spacious rooms that offer all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect for exploring Bharatpur, especially with the nearby Keoladeo National Park just a short drive away. The hotel also has a lovely garden area where you can relax after a day of sightseeing. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast buffet, offering a variety of both local and international dishes. The attentive staff made sure everything was replenished and fresh. Overall, Hotel Sunbird is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Bharatpur. Great service, comfortable accommodations, and a prime location make it a top-notch destination. I can’t wait to return!

We were welcomed like long lost friends having last stayed at the Sunbird in 2005. The hotel has had several upgrades with superb new rooms, well equipped with excellent shower rooms, air conditioning, and plenty of electrical sockets. A new restaurant has been added and the food was excellent. Mr. Laxman Singh the proprietor was able to help us book reservations at the Bird reserve Keoladeo National Park as our main reason for visiting was for bird photography at one of the best birding reserves in the world. He also booked us the same guide that we had back in 2005. He also helped to secure hotel and guiding at Panna Tiger reserve where we had amazing views of a tigress. The Hotel Sunbird is just some 200 metres from the Keoladeo entrance and is therefore ideally placed for easy access. The hotel staff were efficient and really friendly but I must add that we are very outgoing and chat with everyone with numerous "good mornings", "namaste" etc. We stayed for 16 nights and it was a wrench to leave this little oasis on the edge of a bustling city.

We had Family room which were two rooms joined having separate bathrooms and double beds. It was clean and bedsheets and towels were also clean. Bird sanctuary was hardly 500m away from this. We only had breakfast here which was great with good service. Only issue is with limited availability of ala carte during lunch and dinner time. If you have some specific dishes then it will take time. Although, there service was great and quick. Every staff member we found highly trained, polite and ready for help. We had a good stay there.

Walkable to the bird sanctuary! Rooms and bathrooms were really big and clean. Breakfast was a huge plus, everything was delicious! Staff was even better. Very kind. They let us keep our luggage in the rooms past checkout since we weren’t leaving until later, helped us book bus tickets to Jaipur, and then walked us to where the bus picked us up. 10/10 recommend.

I had a wonderful time at Hotel Sunbird. The rooms are very comfortable and excellent with all the facilities that one could ask and wish for. Moreover, the location is great and very close to the Keoladeo National Park (Bharatpur bird sanctuary) main gate so it hardly takes less than 2 minutes to get to the National Park. The owner - Laxman ji - is a great host and is very passionate about bird photography himself. The staff members are very courteous and go out of the way to ensure you have a comfortable stay especially Dharmender. Highly recommended

Coming to Bharatpur from 2018 every year and staying at this hotel. Highly recommended for bird enthusiastic people. The rooms are spacious, food is great. Staff is humble and supportive. Campus is neat, clean and pleasing.

I booked this hotel online and found it to be below average, Bathrooms were not clean, Breakfast had very limited options the cornflakes had insects in it. When we reported to the manager Mr Laxman Singh, he was very rude to talk and started shouting, He seems to be a local villager who does not have any hospitality and service industry experience, room rates were high, room service not available in room, restaurant is highly priced with no taste. The only advantage you get is, it is very near to bird sanctuary, they keep cycles also and charge 3 times the cycle rate of what you get directly in bird sanctuary and will misguide you that we are offering you at the same rate as that of bird sanctuary. You can get much better hotel at the same price in the vicinity.
