**Review for Rupal Residency, Jaisalmer** We recently stayed at Rupal Residency in Jaisalmer in an executive room with a bathtub, and unfortunately, our experience was not as expected. **Cons:** The room was very basic with no wall decor, making it feel quite plain and impersonal. The bathtub was small and had noticeable stains, which was disappointing. Flooring was uncleaned and sticky. The TV experience was also very underwhelming – it was just a basic TV, with no smart features, apps, or even screen mirroring support. Additionally, the jacuzzi was chargeable, which was surprising given the price point. The "play area" was merely a small corner in the parking lot, which hardly felt like a recreational space. The property is essentially a small building that markets itself as a 4-star hotel, but the overall experience does not reflect that at all. Service was another major issue. The staff was untrained and inefficient, which led to slow responses and poor customer service. For example, when we requested the so-called "complementary" high tea, it took a while for it to arrive, and when it did, it was just tea and tasteless cookies served in the room. Definitely not up to standard. Breakfast was another letdown – the bread was stale, and the overall quality of food was poor. **Pros:** There were a few positives to note. The swimming pool was nice and refreshing, and the bed was comfortable, providing a good night's rest. The cultural show they arranged was enjoyable and added a bit of local flavor to the experience. Overall, Rupal Residency needs significant improvements in both its facilities and service to justify its 4-star claims. It feels more like a basic property, and we were quite disappointed with the overall experience.

**Pros:** - The food for lunch and dinner is excellent. - Front office staff are responsive and helpful. - Housekeeping and room service are prompt. - Wi-Fi is excellent. - The swimming pool looks amazing. **Cons:** - Breakfast was disappointing. - Thin walls make it easy to hear noise, including furniture moving and conversations. - Window shades don't block out light effectively. - Bathroom has a strange smell; exhaust fan is non-functional. - Kettle was slightly broken and stained inside. - Gym facilities are very basic; the Foosball table has rough handles and the steam feature is not operational, despite being advertised. - Linen quality, including towels, is average. Overall, there are positives, but several issues need attention for a better experience.

Our stay in Rupal residency was pleasant and had an amazing view from the rooftop.... We wanted to stay with a balcony facing the fort as rooms were not available we missed it... From the roof top it's possible to have a grand view of the fort, especially early morning and during the sunset. Placed inside the city with good eating places around.. The staff is very helpful and the food is also delicious.... No regrets

A wonderful place to stay in Jaisalmer. The staff are super helpful from the reception to the security staff. The room was superb, excellent decor, modern clean lines. Bathroom walk in shower and the fluffiest towels!!! and the most comfortable bed! We had the corner rooms with interconnecting rooms and the extra space was brilliant, especially the beautiful window seat to view the fort. A lovely rooftop infinity pool, perfect after a day of sightseeing in the fort. Highly recommend as the place to stay in Jaisalmer

Rupal Residency is a gem tucked inside Jaisalmer city. This is an international guest's perspective: -The hotel is located off a main road which really helps access, auto rickshaws to a few of the sights are ₹100-₹200 and within 10 min. Of course you can opt to take other means of transport. -Rooms are very decent and quite new, if there is anything missing, the hotel will arrange it. Standard/basic rooms are very spacious but pretty much have no view (they call this the courtyard view). Upgraded fort view rooms have a very nice setee along the window and a clear view of the fort. -Front desk is very friendly and accomodating, they kept an eye out for complimentary upgrades and offered them proactively to us. Of course this can't set a precedent for every guest to expect, but it was much appreciated by our party. They are knowledgeable about the city and will seek out the information you need. - While we did not dine at the ground floor Tilor (lunch only) restaurant, it is beautifully designed. Twice, we dined at the rooftop Godavan restaurant, it offers spectacular sunrises and sunsets, as well as folk entertainment almost every night. I will say that other places may be rated higher and may claim entertainment as well, but they are often not as clean, easy to access, and might only have a single entertainer. By contrast, Rupal had four individuals. -Godavan food is quite good, they have a variety of cuisines, and their service is also excellent. Highly recommended.

The rooms are pretty spacious and comfortable. Staffs are courteus and welcoming. The property has a good view of the Fort and the rooftop restaurant at night is awesome to sit-out. Mr. Ranjan, Miss Pooja, Mr. Mahavir and Mr. Gogardhan are few staffs noticeable who have welcoming and understanding.

Room size and service are great. Stayed recently during Independence Day. Check in and check out were handled well. Happy with the room and the location is perfect. Close to city and with views of the fort. The dinner at the rooftop restaurant is great. The biggest miss and problem is the breakfast. The hotel has trainees in the morning who delay orders, food is either bland or too salty. The breakfast needs a massive improvement. They are also understaffed in the morning. The breakfast has no local cuisines.
